"we have been eating occasionally in barista for 10 years and it was always pleasant. last Friday unfortunately the last visit had to be in front of the place. After we had a table reserved for two people and arrived on time for dinner, we were placed at the bar despite some empty tables in the restaurant. after approx. 10 minutes waiting time at the bar we had to observe how a couple who had no table reserved was guided to one of the free tables. When we complained about it, we were told that this was all a terrible misunderstanding. the waiter was clearly annoyed about the complaining of the customers and so we asked another waiter and said we didn't want our Friday night in the city to be pampered by a merciful and unattended waiter. to our surprise we were asked if this question was a threat to the owner. obviously we left the place - forever. now eating in past was good and the drinks are great. if they are not insulted by a behavior as described above, there is no reason to visit the place. the last time that something similar happened to us in a little bit was a place called livingston, which went bankrupt after the Dot.com downswing. So much luck for the Barista crew and I hope their savings are also enough for more demanding times."
