"we were a group of 10 friends who decided to dinate in la rustique while in a nearby lodge. our decision was based on the price indicated in the menu and a break from going with the usual Chinese Indian italians that we normally set for. slightly set back from the street, it offers a quite normal layout. the entrance is a covered courtyard with a large parisian wall painting on the wall and a series of tables for diners. we sat upstairs, which was well presented and well designed. we had all preordered our courses and were pleasantly surprised that nothing was missed when it was served. the eating itself was amazingly good and the £20 strange pfund that we paid for the set menu was incredibly excellent. I myself had the Calamari star, the seabass main, and dessert the banana crepe. all served hot and the taste was excellent. everyone was really happy with every aspekt of the evening."

a short visit to rustique was the French restaurant below finkle street in richmond a great experience. a small “Snicket” is missing, you enter the restaurant that immediately feels like a typical street in France where everyone eats. They can in this area, the inner room near the bar or, above. fillet steak and halibut were our dishes of choice along with a super bottle bordeaux. both were excellent. friendly attentive staff helped to make a whole round great experience. a visit is worthwhile when they find themselves in the opposite.

we have beaten here for lunch and really enjoyed our meal. Although there was a few waiting involved (it seemed to be just a person waiting all the tables that is not so unusual in these days, and they did a great work) they were all worth it when eating was brilliant. we had creamy mushrooms to start and pamper and a baked vegetarian crepe and everything was excellent, especially the mushrooms and the wine sauce that came with the duck. The prices were also exceptionally low for the offered quality. to round off the dinge, the venue was cozy and full of character and there were different sections (not all on the photos I added) for a good number of tables to allow without losing an intimate...

"We had booked with booking.com . On arrival we were told that we didn't get breakfast included and that it would be £15 a head. We accepted this although thought was pretty steep for breakfast in a pub.The first morning we were given a menu clearly stating that breakfasts were included with all accommodation. I ordered poached eggs with smoked salmon and the other two ordered a full English breakfast which included homemade black pudding. The breakfasts arrived ,one of my poached eggs was runny, the other hard. The English breakfasts had no black pudding on the plates and when queried we were told that the deliveries hadn't arrived. Doesn't homemade imply made on or near the premises and as the owner states he is a butcher by trade I would expect he had made the black pudding. No alternatives were offered and presentation was distinctly lacking , with the baked beans poured over the other items. The next day I risked the full breakfast with black pudding which was lovely. But again the others had badly cooked poached eggs. We were offered no fruit juice, cereal or even toast and marmalade. On leaving we discovered the pub was unmanned , despite poor mobile signal. The owner turned up after 15 minutes. The bill was handed over, charging us for seven breakfasts when we had six, it was adjusted after he asked if one of us had had two breakfast one day? He served and cooked them so should know the answer to that. We were also then overcharged for nine coffee when three coffees and two teas had been ordered. Having had a family B and small hotel in York I advised him that standards were not what I was used to. I spoke to someone who had also visited recently and she stated a member of staff had charged them £15 per head for their similar breakfast where we were charged the menu price. Exceptionally poor menu, inaccurate advise saying breakfast included then charging us and probably the worst breakfast I have eaten in similar accommodation."
