"that was terrible. commanded fajitas and the ’hot’ sent it came out was not even hot, I could touch it!. the sweet and the meat floated in water and had no color as it had been cooked before. I wanted to send it back because that was hard and tasteless, because it should come back with the waitress and tell us that it should be like that? the manager finally came by and took the court for a new one that came back after 20 minutes, sizzling as it should have. but the other court we had was a burrito. that was cold, that was dry and over boiled and the tortilla was so hard on the floor my knife would not cut it, at this place but we were fed. we have our bill, no offer to take a court of our receipt or an apologies. Maybe the cook had a bad day or gave up. a shame, how could a lot of potential have to be nice."

it is a beautiful place and service is ok (can be a bit long) and I can come back. but is a must if only 1 night to visit in the city? no. everything in order, but not cheap.

Cologne Old Town can be very busy, especially during exhibition weeks. Two stops by tram or 15 minutes walk from Dom, Barrios restaurant is a good solution for food and drink. Latin american style menu, reasonable prices, good drinks and friendly service View menu

barrios is one of my favorite restaurants in carols. they get good food whatever they order, fresh fish, meat or just sweet. they have everything and very delicious cocktails! but they have adjusted their menu and have been some of my favorite dishes. taken out what a pity. will come back

The food is okay, rather basic Mexican but nothing special. Service was a bit slow and forgot our beer. I didnt like when I asked for the receipt that they didn 't bring us a real receipt but a Zwischenrechnung which is a way not to...put the order into the books and hide taxes. I had to ask twice to get a real receipt...Says a lot about this place!

we had luck getting a table without reservation, as it was very busy (christmas market times). the waitress with our table was very friendly, which is very rare when a restaurant is so busy. we ordered afteros as starter, followed by enchillada/burrito.... the combo was much too much for us, but definately delicious! I couldn't say anything bad about it, even if I wanted to. I would recommend it. View menu

A nice place with good drinks and rather average food. I’ve been there a few times with friends and usually the service is good but sometimes it takes forever to order something or to get a bill. The place is big, especially when it’s warm...and you can sit outside, so it’s easy to find a place even for a group of people. I can recommend fajitas, they are really good but a bit overpriced. I also tried rollos and enchiladas and they were not tasty at all.

We were really late on Monday evening and most of the restaurants were already closed or closed the kitchen already and just serving drinks ...so we were really happy to find Barrios. The ambient is typical for the food they serve. As we were really...hungry we ordered few tapas but in the end it was too much because the portions are really big. The drinks were one of the best we've ever tried (Long Island Ice tea and Strawberry Daiquiri) as well as the food. Service was ok but somehow i didn't find them very kind or helpfull as well as i got the feeling they prefer their local guests. Overall good restaurant to get food if you find yourself hungry in late hours.

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
