"Atmosphere is nice. Restaurant is in a beautiful Gründerzeithaus. Service is friendly and attentive. Unfortunately the cuisine used to be much better. We had the lunch special. Asperagus soup was salty and too sour. The lentil soup was something between a daal and a German lentil soup - so rather uninspiring. The tuna in sesame crust was not medium but well done which made it dry. It was also too much fish. The mango sauce was just juice with sugar. Overall ok for a cheaper lunch special but not really good."

it was already for lunch in april food was okay, but the service was very slow (but polite and friendly). After they told us that it takes too long to prepare the tapas plate we ordered. the rest of the food came after people got nothing, because the tapas could not be prepared.

Have been there for lunch in April 14. Food was okay but the service was VERY slow (but polite and friendly). After 45min, they told us that it takes too long to prepare the tapas plate we ordered. The remaining food came after 1h, 2 out of 6 people got nothing as the tapas could not be prepared...

This place is consistently great. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Beautiful outdoor seating with great view on the gorgeous neighborhood. Food is always good. We had a real Wiener Schnitzel veal with a perfect breading. The other course were creamy chanterelle mushrooms with fried...bread dumplings. German home cooking at its best

Bonn is a charming city on the Rhine, known for Beethoven's birthplace. Typical dishes include Sauerbraten, Rhenish mussels, and Himmel un Ääd, a mix of mashed potatoes and apples.
