the bastei is everything in one: caffe, restaurant, and beer garden. all of this with a magnificent view of the Rhinepanorama. the food is excellent, though not just cheap. I always come here with a visit from outside, because at few places bonn bad godesberg is as beautiful as here. in summer the beer garden is almost always crowded.

the bastei is a beautiful restaurant right at the rhein in bonnn bad godesberg. as a further bonus there is a beer garden with direct view of the Rhine and the seven mountains in the summer. I can only recommend this restaurant warmly, especially those who come to bonn as tourist. directly below is the naval dock from which further trips can be made with a Rhine ship or which invites them to a rheinpromenade.
