Has to be one of the best experiences of our holiday so far. Food, service and ambience is amazing. Truely unexpected from the outside, but well worth the experience. Will be back next time for sure!

I loved it! we went in without reservation, so we had to wait for an hour, but it was worth it. I had the pork with mushroom and speck sauce. so good. we seemed like the only tourist so we were given English menu and the waiters also made sure we knew what was happening. service was very good. Though quite pricey in German standard, it is definitely an enjoyable experience to get in Cologne. Hanged out in a place packed with locals and unexpected travellers, with wonderful beer and the one of the best schnitzels in Germany (pork or veal options available). Highly recommend to everyone!

I loved this place. but you have to book because we were very happy to get a place at the bar. eating is great, so make sure they are hungry before they go. the staff was great and spoke very good English. beer comes in 200ml glasses and was very easy to drink. they also have to pay in cash, so make sure that they have been at the bank in advance.
