Friendly staff, had cod fish and chips and it was delicious. Also had an espresso coffee and I must say, as an Italian, I did not expect it to be this good! Well deserved 5 stars.

Had a nice lunch perfectly cooked here. There were 6 of us who were a wheelchair and a busy daytime. I have to say, was very impressed by how nothing was too much trouble, that we were all well received and had plenty of space. I recommend a visit.

One of many places to eat along the seafront but I’m glad to say this is one of the better ones. The restaurant was clean tidy, the food very tasty also freshly cooked to order, the prices reasonable the staff polite. Would definitely recommend here we will be going again.

The young girl was very nice and pleasant. We couldn’t say anything about the customer service as it was great. Shame about the food. It wasn’t very good at all. Battered fish had this dry slimy piece underneath, chips are not traditional but frozen thick cut you can buy at any supermarket. All the sauces were cheap branded and tasted gone off. For £45 we wish we waited till be popping into town for something better. Unfortunately we definitely won’t visit again. Sorry

Visited Southend after a decade and so decided on coming here to try the authentic cod and chips in the perfect location. Came before afternoon time and on a Thursday so was nice and quiet and was greeted by John who showed me the menu and his recommendations. I ordered their classic medium cod and chips. Cod was nice and fluffy with a nice light batter with I'd say the perfect size chips that aren't too big and have a nice amount of fluff inside plus cooked till golden and crispy. Salad is also placed on the side. Cannot fault the food and service and thank John for his service and hospitality. Hope to come again.
