"In the restaurant we have eaten more often and this weekend we stayed in the Rößle. It was fine. The rooms were very good, the food was as usual super tasty and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable. The 5 stars are not enough to evaluate the Rößle!"

"Far from the hustle and bustle lies this beautiful inn. Today on October 23 you could sit outside. Food not only 08/15 but also dishes on the map that are not found so often. We once ordered cauliflowers with cheese and Hollandaise baked, with salt potatoes and salad from the buffet and the second food lentils with homemade latency and sausages. Both totally delicious and inexpensive. Attention friendly service - could not have been better"

"Hexenlochmuhle (literally translated as Witch's hole mill) is basically that. it was originally a very old watermill now turned into a little souvenir shop with a restaurant to eat at . it is definitely built at what feels like the bottom of a hole (it seems to be a long and endless drive down, down and ever downwards to get there). Not sure where the Witch part of it came from. I have been there before from time to time over the years. Pleasant surrounding view to eat at and an interesting downward spiral of a road journey to get there. The food is more kind of a cake and coffee thing than a full blown meal but the cake is great. A pleasant place to break for a morning brunch or an afternoon tea."

"We booked a table for Saturday evening at and arrived on time. After taking a few pics outside of the stunning facade we went inside and were seated at a fairly large table. The interior was just as stunning as the outside being a...traditional mountain Gasthof. The place was quite busy with a lot of families dining and had a homely feel to it which was good. The waiter greeted us and gave us menus etc but then rushed off being obviously very busy. After around we began to feel a bit neglected as we had not been offered any drinks and could not seem to attract any attention from the waiter. Just as we were contemplating leaving he appeared asked if we were ready to order? We said yes but would also like some drinks too! Another mins later the drinks arrived followed shortly after by our starters. The wild garlic soup was excellent! Between the five of us we tried the venison, pork, salmon, steak chicken curry German style! To sum up, the food was superb but let down by poor service. Ok the place was busy but we should have been offered drinks upon being seated. Would definitely go back but maybe in the week rather than weekend. Also, just a reminder that like a lot of the other restaurants/Gasthof's in the area they are closed on Mondays."

"Big praise to this great team!!! We called from my rehabilitation clinic to reserve 2 places at short notice. It worked perfectly. We were warmly welcomed. We enjoyed delicious coffee and cake. We wanted to get some fresh air and were able to reserve two more places for dinner and we were even more happy about it Excellent sausage salad and blackcurrant spritzer. Beforehand there was a delicious greeting from the kitchen. Very nice and not intrusive staff. The staff also had very nice interactions with each other, which I would also like to praise very much. Big plus! We would be happy to come back to you from the Kinzigtal"
