"The restaurant is located in the village of Buchholz, a part of the town of Waldkirch. It is in many ways typical of restaurants in this part of Germany - clean and efficient, with a comfortable dining room.The food, however, is considerably better than average for this kind of restaurant. I had a rather simple dish - pork schnitzel with spaetzle and vegetables. The vegetables were perfectly cooked and the spaetzle were of very high quality, as was the schnitzel. I also tasted the steak with pepper sauce, which had a delicious sauce with a strong hint of mustard. The dessert was a white chocolate mousse with blood orange sorbet and macerated kumquats. It was excellent and certainly more creative than one would expect in a family restaurant of this type.The waitress was extremely attentive without in any way becoming obtrusive or irritating. She was one of the most professional waitresses I have seen in German restaurants.Overall, I recommend a dinner at this very pleasant restaurant."

"Gehen dort schon seit Jahren zum Essen hin und wurden noch nie enttäuscht, weder bei der Qualität, Menge oder beim Preis. Der Besitzer nimmt sich Zeit um ein kurzes Gespräch mit der Kundschaft zu führen und das Personal ist immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Top Restaurant !!!"

"We've always been eating at Mardini. Of course there were always changes, sometimes there was another meat or other bread or other supplements. It was comparatively delicious and always fresh! The price has risen significantly lately, but what you like to buy when the food tastes. But what we got served today was not just a groundless evil, you should have called back the money! The Spies looked a little weird, and it was fried unusually strong. The taste test also confirmed the assumption that the meat was not fresh (lower). Sorry but that was the last time, very bad"

"Wir waren zu Besuch in Waldkirch und sind per Zufall auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen da wir Mittagessen wollten.Die Mittagskarte bietet 5 oder 6 Gerichte jeweils mit Vorsuppe und Salat vorweg.Die Vorsuppe bestand aus einer völlig übersalzenen Fertigbrühe auf der einige Croutons schwammen, wir konnten diese Suppe nur probieren sie war ungenießbar. Danach folgte der Salat der zumindest dem mitlerweile deutlich reduzierten Ansprüchen im unteren Level gerecht wurde. Als Hauptgericht hatten wir Pfannkuchen mit Spargel, ein für unseren Geschmack viel zu dicker wabbeliger Pfannkuchen in den eine geschmacklose weisse Pampe mit Spargelstücken eingeschlagen war, wobei nicht mehr zu erkennen war ob es sich um frischen oder Dosenspargel handelte so verkocht und matschig, das war weder mit Hunger noch mit gutem Willen und reduzierten Ansprüchen essbar sondern einfach nur eine Zumutung. Der sehr günstige Preis war für dieses "Mittagessen ' noch zu teuer! Unser Rat: 3€ mehr und dafür frisch gekocht mit Geschmack und wenigstens minimale Kochkenntnisse!"

"Very friendly and good cheerful operation! Tip for vegetarians: Ask for vegetables in Metaxasauce. Not the vegetables offered on the map in tomato sauce that does not taste to me personally... But in Metaxasauce it tastes great! Maybe it'll be officially on the map someday. After all, there are more and more vegetarians. : So would be a real enrichment! All the BEST!!!"
