"Il ristorante pizzeria Il Gabbiano di Carpenedolo è un luogo che ormai è entrato a far parte nella storia della ristorazione. Buone pizze dalle dimensioni gigantesche ed ottimi piatti di pesce di mare contraddistinguono questo ristorante. Il fritto misto è eccezionale, NON untuoso ed abbondante, che già con quello potresti essere già sazio. Ed il gelato: squisito A fine pasto ti portano il digestivo composto da tre bottigliette: limoncello, anima nera e gusto melone e come se non bastasse cantuccini e fichi secchi con lo zucchero a velo. Personale di servizio composto da ragazzi/e molto svegli e dinamici, sempre gentilissimi."

"The name had not attracted me...Restaurant Pizzeria very well organized, the owner also personally follows the customers despite having a structure with different staff and different other activities both near and on Lake Garda. The quality of the products is excellent, dulcis the fundo the panettone that is extraordinary! A true example of those who put themselves at stake every day, reaching great goals, high levels of professionalism, customer satisfaction, that arrive with a great energy to the final customer! "We were here in Montichiari in fall of 2012 staying at Palazzo Novello which is still fabulous. We ate at Rosy teice snd wanted to go back a third time but it was closed so we went to Osteria Dei Matti and it was spectacular....So we were really looking foward to our dinner after having another great lunch at Rosy. What a disappointment! The beef tartare was described as having the traditional uovo, capperi, etc. which usually are separate or the placed on top. This was all smushed together and there was no egg yolk at all. Not very tasty either. The fusilli pasta in cheese sauce was delicious but the menu said it had pepe Sichuan. No pepper of any sort in it. And the vitello tonnato... Oy .... Nothing like it is supposed to be. Thick slices of un chewable veal with a bland sauce underneath. Might be 'creative ' but it isn 't good. And everything is pricey. Go to Rosy instead for better value, flavor, ingredients and generosity. Too bad."

"I rate this place very good because the food is really good and made with very fresh, high quality ingredients. It is a rather modern setting. It may first give a rather cold feeling but it is not. I am not a big fan of modern creative settings in restaurants, though. The risk with this place is that it may be mistaken for a fast food style restaurant. In reality, however, the food quality it is entirely the opposite. Don't be repelled by the location. In summary, good food in a casual modern atmosphere."
