"Really excellent food, prepared with love! That is what came up in my mind when eating. These people just want you to eat the best they can prepare only. That makes the difference. Like my mother would cook it for Christmas and believe me that is the best compliment I can give.I dont feedback usually but this time I felt that I had to do it just to thank the chef and her team. (I only heard woman voices coming from the kitchen : ) )We ordered:Spargel soup Raw rolladeSpargel with steak and hollandaise Sauce Simple dishes basically but so good"

Went there a monday evening, had to book a table, and glad we did. Very nice food, typical German menu, high quality and service, in a lovely outdoor garden.

Very nice typical German hospitality, a warm welcome and fantastic atmosphere.Service was spot on and the food divine if you like traditional German food. The Rohe Rouladen can be ordered as either a starter or main course. We had the smaller version as a starter and it is a must to try it!The Schnitzel with fried potatoes was as good as the starter!I hope to be back in Celle! I wisited the restaurant with my family and my parents. The atmosphere where good, the food well done and the service outstanding. I have the special meet roll and it was an interesting dish that I might want to try again. My two year old twins had the vegetarian pasta and this was one of the best pasta dishes I have tasted in some time, absolutely something to recommend. The summary is that I liked the restaurant and would recommend a visit.

Due to the beautiful weather we were able to enjoy dinner in the Biergarten. The traditional German food was excellently prepared and the service was nothing short of amazing. Two ladies with constant smiles and friendly words. The five star rating is due to the overall experience. This is not Michelin star food. It is honest german food perfectly prepared. When in Celle or surrounding it is worth to try this restaurant. Oh, and try there special dish at least as a starter. Very nice.

"Recently I found myself in Celle again on a combined business/pleasure trip. Already having eaten at Schweine Schulze (see review there), this time we headed to Le Feu.Le Feu is situated in an old Fachwerkhaus, but that is not too unexpected as in Celle the old character and hauses have been preserved. That is until the socialist party got a majority in the city council and started to demolish old hauses. I think they were voted out before they could damage more than one street that is now an eyesore in Celle.Anyway, back to Le Feu. As the name already indicates there is a bit of a French influence, which translates itself to a lot of dishes with an Alsacian/Lorraine influence like the Elzasser Flammkuche/Tarte Flambée Alsacienne, or, in regular english: The Alsacian version of the Italian Pizza, but with a variety of toppings. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The owners/managers are welcoming and friendly just as the staff is. Service was prompt. Ordered several varieties of Flammkuche in sequenceI prefer the more traditional savory Flammkuche, with onions and bacon. My date had a mexican and a hawaiian. All tasted great. Though I am not really into beer, when in germany do as the germans so topped it off with some great german beer.Had a lovely evening. Bill was a pleasant surprise. Definitely good quality for your euro.Le Feu caters for people with several food allergies."
