Went in to buy a family takeaway. Asked about allergies (gluten free option) met with the most rude and aggressive response I’ve ever seen. Won’t be coming back.

A wonderful meal at the Big Catch. Great fish and chips, but so much more than that, this is a wonderful fish restaurant. The owner is a lovely lady, very kind and engages with her customers, many of whom are regulars.

We had a great time at the restaurant today, especially enjoying the fish pie. With better lighting during the day, I'm confident you will attract more customers. Adding a few bright white LED bulbs would make a significant difference. View menu

Beyond amazing! Clean, tidy and the staff were brilliant. Best cod and chips and mushy peas I have ever eaten. The home made curry sauce was perfection. Gotta have curry sauce on your chips, would be rude not too.... Will DEFINITELY be going back!

I have seriously never tasted fish soup that comes close to the Big Catches home made recipe! Had a marvellous evening with family and friends, in the most warm and welcoming environment. Service excellent and the most delicious food. I had grilled rock as a main, which was cooked to absolute perfection. Will definitely return.

I had fish and chips today for the first time in many months. I came to The Big Catch, Beckenham, where I have not been for even longer. The meal was superb!! I rated it 4 out of 5, only on the basis that nowhere is perfect, but if I had been able to rate it 4.99, I would have done so!!! The best fish and chips I have ever had!! The Big Catch really is a cut above the rest. My husband and I have dined here many times and always revive such a warm welcome from the waitress. Great vibe and ambiance, friendly, efficient staff and the most AMAZING fish and chips in London. Great menu choices that put a contemporary twist on many traditional favourite fish dishes. Whole heartedly recommend 10/10 always a fabulous night out!

Having lived in Beckenham for more than 20 years, I can confidently say that this restaurant offers the best food in town. The menu is impressively diverse, with a special highlight on the fresh and perfectly cooked fish dishes. The fish soup is a standout choice for a starter. The staff are welcoming and attentive, and the restaurant is consistently clean. It also provides great value for money.

This restaurant never disappoints with its impressive vegetarian options and the best chips in London. We savored a beautifully presented side salad, crispy onion rings with sweet chili dip, and a delicious and diverse selection of grilled vegetables. My husband enjoyed fresh battered cod with all the fixings. The service was friendly and professional as always, and the atmosphere was vibrant. Once again, we thoroughly enjoyed a romantic meal for two. View menu
