"Service was inconsistent and not all dishes were amazing, but there were some standouts that made up for the rest. The roasted bone marrow started was decadently delicious. The saucisse with aligot (thick, cheesy, creamy, stretchy mashed potatoes! was not only beautiful on the plate, but the flavors were superb. And the home-style bread pudding dessert was truly a treat."

Very good meal, excellent bistro cuisine auvergnat, authentic décor, friendly service by the boss, good value for money. Mr. Melac can sleep quietly, the rotation is assured.

Went in for lunch without planking in advance. Service was very friendly. The food was average. Nothing special. The cabagfe stuffed pork lacked spices. A cappuccino I ordered took ages to arrive and was extremely expensive.

I went to Bistrot Melac at the recommendation of my Parisian friends and it was easily the culinary highlight of my trip. The wine selection was great and the duck I ordered was out of this world. My friend who was vegetarian ordered the burratta and really loved it. The staff is wonderful and warm but their English is quite minimal. A truly authentic experience.
