small local in the heart of torino with possibility to sit outside. exceptional wine cellar, typical Piedmontese cuisine super. staff and owners very kind and nice. highly recommended

This place has incredible piedmontese food (I’m from piedmont). It’s also one of the few places were you can eat low carb (meat, cheese etc) Their meat is exceptional and you can trust their wine pairings It’s also a great place to get a sense of the local cuisine.

We stopped here twice on our recent trip to Torino. Very friendly staff and a great selection of wine made this place a favorite. The snacks serve during apperitvo were simple but delicious. Some impressive bottles, mostly from Piedmont for purchase at fair prices.

Our experience here was mixed. The service was pleasant but the food disappointing. The lamb chops were charred and tough—ditto for the potatoes. The cheese appetizer was well-presented and tasty. Probably best for wine, an aparetif, or appetizers rather than dinner.

Bistrot Turin is an restaurant located in the center of Torino, which has an excellent outside terrace, where you can dinner while seeing people and relax. We came here with my 3 years old daughter and we could enjoy a lot with the dinner. We tasted an antipasto with italian cheeses and cured sausages as first dish and two dishes of pasta as second dish. Also we shared a panacotta as dessert and I could taste white and red wine. All was excellent and my daughter like very much the place and the food.

We had our first Torinese dinner a couple of days ago at Bistrot Turin, a restaurant noted for its comprehensive wine list. We started with a sparkling rosé made from the iconic Nebbiolo grapes. Delish. Next, we shared a bottle Barbaresco with our dinner: a rib steak for my husband, rare and tender, and for me a Piemontese Carne Crudo the local version of steak tartare, served with cheese and caramelized onions. It was lovely. They were so impressed by our ability to drink that they comped us to a grappa each after dinner, which we elected to enjoy outside, in the porticoed arcade. A brilliant first day in terrific Torino!
