"Ottima esperienza culinaria arricchita da una posizione spettacolare, praticamente cenare davanti a una cascata probabilmente storicamente creata per trasformare il mulino sottostante visibile da un'apertura di vetro sul pavimento. Il personale cortese e attento ci ha servito e coccolato in modo impeccabile. Super consigliato per chi vuole fare un'esperienza culinaria in cima, lasciare che i boccioli di gusto danzano e assaporano sapori diversi dai piatti abituali offerti dalla ristorazione locale tradizionale."

"We often go to this agriturismo about 20 mins. from Sondrio in Valtellina. Matteo and his family always serve excellent food and they're really nice. They always come up with new recipes to throw in the mix. If you go, try the tagliatelle (fettuccine) with poison ivy sauce (yes, for real), my favorite, or the ravioli di magro with grated lemon peel. Matteo also produces his own Valtellina Superiore Nebbiolo (red wine) which is a must. Santa Maria is perched at about 900 mts asl and you can enjoy a fantastic view of the valley and its mountains."

"The place is exceptional, the food is excellent, there is attention to detail and care in everything. Not to mention that the owner Olmo is a golden person, who has created an empire from nothing with commitment and dedication, in defiance of those who say that young people don't want to work. He is an example for all of us. I highly respect him as a person and as a worker, and he has poured these qualities into the restaurant, offering refined dishes and combinations that are not at all obvious, such as blueberry beer for example. Excellent, like everything else!"

"Nulla da dire sul cibo: porzioni abbondanti e piatti di qualità con proposte fuori menù in base al pesce fresco a disposizione dello chef.Lo staff è disorganizzato al punto che uno dei camerieri non era a conoscenza che dei piatti non fossero disponibili quella sera, infatti ci ha garantito che oltre ai piatti del giorno, potevamo tranquillamente ordinare tutto quello che era presente sul menù.Un'altra pecca del servizio è che una volta finito di mangiare il primo, siamo stati completamente ignorati dai camerieri che non ci hanno chiesto se volessimo altro, nemmeno un caffè... comportamento ridicolo dato che andrebbe a loro vantaggio vendere piatti in più.La qualità del cibo comunque mi spinge a valutare di tornarci sperando in un miglioramento."

"Order an aperitivo here and your drink comes with a variety of yummy 'nibbles '. Coffee is excellent order an espresso normale and you 'll get a delicious shot of espresso (short black). The city of Sondrio hosts Festa dell 'Estate (Summer Festival) EVERY Thursday night during July and August. Caffe Della Posta serves great three course meals for around €18 per person. We had primi piatti (first course) of an octopus salad followed by a huge paella with plenty of seafood and finished with sorbetto. All excellent. Maurizio and Gloria all excellent hosts.
