Such a little gem. Managed to book for the same evening, they squeezed us all in, including the dogs. The food was delicious Seafood Platter and Sticky Toffee Pudding to die for! Patience and Kindness don't cost a thing and are rewarded with excellent food and lovely company.

I really enjoyed the meal. The food menu is small but satisfying. We ordered lentil soup which was great, panko-fried dreamy and scampi (shrimp) which came with side dishes. Homemade food at its best! And a great atmosphere in front of the burning fireplace, on a cold September day. Recommended stop! View menu

Worst coffee I have ever had. Received luke warm coffee, when I complained about the temperature the server just poured in hot water. So now I had hot, very weak coffee. Toilet right next to the kitchen While waiting we heard the chef be rude to some other customers who wanted takeaway food. He shouted at them who do you think we are “McDonalds” Service: 1

We had lunch at the restaurant, and it was a lovely experience. Oika has a cozy and homely ambiance, with warm decor and a crackling fireplace that made it a perfect retreat from the cold, rainy weather outside. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was friendly without being intrusive. It might just be the best meal we've had in Scotland. Service: 5/5, Location: 4/5.

As soon as we entered the cafe we were greeted with bad customer service. The young boy working didn 't seem happy to see us as customers and joked by saying, 'everyone get out ', he then proceeded to serve an old lady (hard of hearing) at the till and ended up shouting at her for her table number. Shortly after, he goes to that ladies table and she asks what the soup of the day is, he says tomato, walks away saying, 'like I 've said 4 times before '. We didn 't like the way he was speaking to people, so we got up and left and went down the road to Mistys who showed polite and friendly customer service. View menu
