"We chose this place as it looked so beautiful to sit by the river enjoying breakfast. Unfortunately, it wasn’t meant to be- we had to sit inside as we chose the full breakfast. Inside, there was no atmosphere, no ambience. The lady serving wasn’t very welcoming. Overpriced for what you get. We waited a long time for the coffee to come- by the time it came, so did breakfast. No sweeteners available, only sugar. I think next time, I would walk along the river to see what other options there are including sitting by the river"

beautiful eating in picturesque riverside location. outside the seating on the river nice to sit and watch as the boats with a coffee on a beautiful day.

Always stop here for a rest and use the toilet facilties which are always clean and well kept. I peruse the shopping area and sometimes make a purchase in the deli dept. It's nearly always busy but don't have to queue for long as staff are very efficient and welcoming.

Came here for lunch on my mom's birthday. Haven't been since about 2010 and my god the food is so good, the sausage and mash with gravy is out of this world, I'm not surprised it's award winning. The inside has been renovated since I last came and now it looks nice and sleek inside. Would highly recommend.

he's stopped on a coffee and a scoon. sa outside to take care of our bikes, it was a pleasant day. Nice to see how the river cruises up and down along the strange canoe kayak. coffee was good and scones really tasted nice with much fruit (no glaze cherry thank good.) would go back there. not too expensive for a chester caffe

nice eating directly at the river bank. the menus for the inside and outside differ slightly. we arrived shortly after the opening and sat in us when it looked like rain was in the foreground. the staff was very friendly and there was a nice relaxed atmosphere. eating is delicious, well presented with excellent quality ingredients.
