Excellent food and great service! Food was all freshly cooked and portions were very generous! Service was great and we all felt very welcomed. Would 100% recommend this place. Steak was amazing.

highly recommended large eating- visited here as family on the other night after some good reviews and this is a real hidden gem. eating was amazing and tasteful with massive portions. good and friendly service from a lady i think was the owner. we had a bark stew, a massive pork jar, local fish and canary chicken with veg and handcut chips. great value for money and really delicious food would recommend a visit. do not let them be like a local restaurant!

We visited this restaurant last week after reading the reviews. Wow! I'm so glad we did. We were welcomed by Julie who couldn't have been a more accommodating or warm, friendly host. She made sure we were comfortable with our table and explained the menu and specials. The food when it arrived was extremely well cooked and presented. We both enjoyed our meals and wine choices. The portion sizes are generous but this is certainly not a case of quantity over quality. I would highly recommend this lovely homely restaurant to eat in or get a takeaway we did both). It's good, honest Portuguese fayre at very reasonable prices. Thank you Jose and Julie

Was in Callao Salvaje for New Year and have never managed to get into this restaurant before however we managed to get a reservation this time and so glad we did. The restaurant is small however the owner is lovely, very welcoming, friendly and guided us through some menu related questions. My wife and I visited with another couple and we shared chicken croquettes and baked Camembert for starters both of which were lovely. For main we shared the Canarian chicken between 3 of us and my wife picked grilled seabass.
