"Take the CV749 from Jalon and drive up or cycle if brave enough, into the Bernia, winded trip but the views are superb. There are a number of restaurants on the way but hold on. When you are near the top (approx. 12 kM) look out for Bon Vent on the left, park and take a walk, again the views are good, the air clean and you will get an appetite which you will need ! The restaurant Bon Vent has been recently updated but is still quiet basis, but the new owners are full of life and provide excellent food. The set menu is chicken , rabbit or lamb cooked in a wood oven served with the best frays in the area with numerous roasted garlics..... An absolute treat for us ... and starters are basic salads but this day we had sardines cooked to perfection in the oven. I was in heaven, we cleared the lot. Deserts are homemade but not great choice, fruit is plentiful and the coffee is excellent, all for 12 Euros including wine. We shall make this one of our regular trips, good food, good air and magic views."

es el tercero que nos acercamos a comer el bon vent y nos encanta, un lugar tranquilo en plena naturaleza con una carta de tierra con sabores caseros hechos con amor. la hermosa paella y el excelente tratamiento. repetiremos.

vegetable paella with flavor, a lot of flavor and that is already complicated, rice at its point and good rations. very traditional and well made tickets. the cook must know of this. very cordial attention. to repeat, no doubt.

Excelente opción en la Sierra de Bernia para disfrutar un buen arroz al horno, realmente muy bueno, sumar lugar muy auténtico, buen y amable servicio, rico ali oli casero y dulce final con tarta de queso y mistela cortesía de la casa.

This is a VERY rustic Spanish Restaurant set fairly high up on the Sierra de Bernia and a welcome stopping point for anyone on a scenic drive or particularly on a cycle ride. Cheap food and cheap drinks offer a welcome respite for all who enter. Very pleasant staff.

This is a gem a restaurant located in the mountains above Jalon and Pinos, with a view all the way to the sea. 20-30minute drive to get there, but the drive in itself is stunning. Very relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff. Choice of paella or barbecue meats (lamb, rabbit, chicken). Extremely tasty and good value. Open for lunches (or just drinks) during the week and evenings as well at the weekend. We will definitely be going back.

Bon Vent Restaurant – Almost mirage like as you round the corner when on the ‘Pinos Panhandle’ walk and it’s there straight in front of you and open during the day …. Just when you thought you might day if you weren’t able to obtain at least one emergency pint of shandy. Lots of seating. Fantastically clean and large toilets. Well presented and pleasant staff. Also accessible by car bike from the road at the other side of the property. And you get free tapas !

Take the CV749 out of Jalon and head up into the Bernia and at kilometer 12 you will find this oasis of good food with welcoming staff. This is a very peaceful location with nature all around. A meal is standard and consists of bread and ali oli, green salad, meat and chips, a desert and half a bottle of wine. There is a choice of meat from lamb, chicken and rabbit all cooked in a stone oven with garlic cloves. Very basic fare but well done and oh so enjoyable. Personally I request no roast garlic cloves with my meat, or I give them to my wife, who loves them. This is a trip we have made a number of times, just beware of the narrowness of the CV749 which continues past the restaurant to Beni...
