"This was the perfect ending to an amazing day in the Highlands. After a 10-minute drive from our hike up Devil's Staircase, we arrived at the restaurant feeling a bit wet, exhausted, and parched in the early afternoon. It turned out to be a wonderful place to refuel and recharge! I opted for one of the daily specials: a steak pie paired with a beer, and it was just what I needed. Some members of our group enjoyed a delicious tomato basil soup, while others went for hamburgers or chicken. We also shared a sticky toffee pudding, which was possibly the best version of this classic dessert we encountered during our travels in Scotland (and we tried quite a few!). If the restaurant is busy when you arrive and your group is all over 18, you can head around to the entrance of Boots, a large bar that connects to the restaurant. You’ll place your order at the bar, providing your table number, and they will deliver your food. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to enjoy a satisfying meal after a day of hiking!"

The food here is incredible, situated along the stunning A82 scenic route in Glencoe Valley. It's a must-visit destination, offering excellent service, a great selection of beers, and even tastier food.

The food was good and it is a cute space. The trail along the stream is beautiful if you want to stretch your legs. The scenes for Hagrid's hut in the Harry Potter film Prisoner of Azkerban was shot close by so you can ask someone there is you want to visit the site.

Went to Glencoe when I caught a cold. I didn't have much appetite and didn't want to explore or taste anything I never tried. I figured mac and cheese is the safest... And it was delicious. Creamy and cheesy.. Hope I will have an opportunity to go back and tried other stuff. View menu

This place was recommended to us by our host at our b&b....were so glad we stopped in! You order your food at the bar and take a seat. We were lucky and had a beautiful sunny day, so we sat outside and enjoyed the fantastic views. Food was great and drinks were too. I bet this place is also a fun spot at night for drinks. Loved it!!!

Location is fabulous...right in the middle of Glencoe area and a fabulous base for walking and exploring this region. One of the most spectacular places on earth. The accomodation is basic and value for money is not great for what it is. The restaurant is ok and serves pretty decent food and there is a pub that almost looks like a student bar with an extensive list of single malts and locally brewed ales. If I come to Glencoe again I would happily stay here. Dont expect luxury as you wont get it here.

Clachaig Inn was a short walk from our hostel, and provided for two fun evenings out. The restaurant was cozy and warm, with a number of cider options. We had a meadowsweet cider and ginger cider the first evening, along with our pork chorizo chili and haggis. Both dishes were delicious. The second evening we had the fish and chips and game meat pie, again great dishes. The bar on the other side of the inn serves the same food, just pick up style from the counter. We had a couple drinks in the bar while playing pool. Great atmosphere. You must try the boozy hot chocolate. Super good. View menu

Clachaig Inn checked all the boxes. It was within walking distance of our lodging, is in the most picturesque setting imaginable, and, as their website claims, really does have legendary atmosphere. It's exactly the kind of place you want to walk into to complete a gorgeous day in Scotland. Thrumming with energy but full of charm, it was filled with locals and visitors sharing stories about whatever adventures they had lived that day. A little hectic, but definitely atmospheric. The food was good. Hearty, home style cooking with a modern flair. We all ate well after a long day of walking and hiking nearby. Drink selection was wonderful, and we really enjoyed the desserts. I can't say it was...

This restaurant is a unique gem located near our accommodation in the Glen Coe area. They have two adjacent dining establishments, and we chose the one for patrons aged 21 and over. While they usually offer live music and shows on certain nights, unfortunately, we missed out on that during our visit. The selection of beers and ciders on tap is impressive—I opted for a flight of three and highly recommend trying the whiskey cider. The brie appetizer was also quite tasty. For my main course, I had the baked sea bass, which I definitely recommend, especially with the delicious pesto sauce on top! The fries were just average. Everyone in my group seemed pleased with their meals. I suggest arrivi...
