Even durring fair time (Ambiente) you really get fantastic food and charming service. I can really recommend this Italien restaurant.

Traditional Italian dishes, we ordered the pizza and the spinach ravioli, both of which were fantastic. The prices were very reasonable and the service was great.

We arrived very late and this place was perfect. The service was fantastic. They were very friendly. The food was great! We lived in Italy and this pizza was spot on

It is strange to say that for a restaurant in Germany but this place serves the most tasty Italian food we have ever tasted - even in Italy! we visited it at least 4 times during a 5 days trip and each time was a revelation! And at very good prices! View menu

Great pizza and the place feels really Italian and it is just around the corner from all the bars. Had a bit of a funny misunderstanding over a mixed salad when we asked what it contains and the answer was "normale"... we ordered it anyway, and it was also great :) the staff seem friendly and it seems the kind of place where if you went more frequently they would remember you and say hello...as we left the owner (or manager?) said thanks and goobye to us.

I went to the Borsalino with my brother a few weeks ago. At first, we were quite sceptical due to the outer appearance of the restaurant. I usually don't visit restaurants that serve more than one kind of dishes regarding the country of origin. The Borsalino serves Italian food as well as German cuisine. Nonetheless, we went inside because there were so many people sitting at the tables. And we haven't been disappointed at all. We both ordered pizza and the pizza was just outstandingly yummy. The cooks use real buffalo mozzarella and really tasty tomato sauce. Plus you can order some freakily hot chilli sauce. Be careful using it since it really burns your mouth but it's worth trying it sinc...

Our hotel receptionist recommended this section of Frankfurt ( i believe the Kleine Rittergass) for a change of scenery from the Rom and for the choice of restaurants. When we arrived it seemed like an area for young adults that did not get any action until 10pm. We stopped in a bar for a drink and the owner recommended Borsalino. It was chilly so we asked for a table inside. The waitress was very reluctant to give us a table stating they were all reserved at 8pm (it was now 7pm). We said we were not going to eat outside so they let us stay AND it was well worth our persistence. I had the homemade pasta which was delicious.
