"We were staying at the rye holiday park ,which is a 5 min walk from this lovely little cafe.because of lockdown they were only doing takeaways.My daughter went and bought 4 bacon sandwiches for us all,to bring back to the lodge and Wow.The best bacon butties ever,crammed full with bacon and cooked as requested.Cannot wait for lockdown to be over,then we can frequent Bosuns regularly.Apparently their crab sandwiches are to die for too.One more on my list to try"

Extremely friendly staff, tasty food and drinks and Covid safe what more could you want. When in Rye Harbour, this is the place to drop into for a snack.

food was nice, but the service slow, the tables dirty and the server a bit dour. needs a bit of a clean. coffee was very good dog friendly wouldn’t bother if you are in a rush

Popped in during the week, menu choice reduced dramatically from previous owners , prices hiked, just doesn't seem as nice as it used to be, definitely lost the lovely atmosphere it had.

Delicious, fresh food. Lovely coffee and hot chocolate. Friendly, helpful staff. Specials and a selection of yummy cakes. Gluten free bread available and chips are gluten free. Best chips we've had in ages! Dog friendly.

Breakfast menu very disappointing, used to do a light cooked breakfast but now it's only a large one.The menu has changed and not the variety that there used to be ,such a shame used to travel there for the lovely food but not now.

Really lovely food. We had a scampi bap, salt and pepper squid and a portion of chips between us. Portions were generous and everything cooked to perfection, very impressed! A small investment in the decor could make it even better!

Visited with my Grandsons for lunch. We had 2 Bacon Sandwiches and a Sausage and Bacon one. Well stuffed sandwich in large wedges of bread. Cooked to a turn. No frills such as crips or salad. Just good filling sandwich with prompt service. Wash down with a mug of tea. Great!!!
