"Four of us stopped in for a late lunch. We chose this restaurant because it is open all day. Many do not begin serving dinner until 7:00 pm. The weather was great, so we sat outside on the covered patio. We all enjoyed our food...and the chef made a special dish for a member of our party who has multiple food allergies (no dairy or gluten). It took about 90 minutes to complete our meal, including dessert, but that is not unusual for Strasbourg. We experienced longer waits at other restaurants nearby. What I remember most is seeing the dining room. Beautifully decorated with cherubs painted on the ceilings. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some of the reviews, but our experience was quite positive."

it’s a traditional brasserie with the expected menu, but they are open late and the service was quick and attentive.

Food, service and ambience is just like it should be in a french brasserie. The Tartar de beuf is excellent, salads are not that tasty. Service is good and prices ok.

we could have been sitting in one of the famous pariser brasseries. eating was great, service excellent and billing no surprise. the situation is a bit off the grand ole stretch, but still worth a visit. View menu

I think the only good thing about my FlixBus experience was that it has left us in sight on this restaurant! my partner, who knows about eating, explained that the top of the volaille was the second best meal he had in france. Vegetable soup star was delicious. either not expensive

Food was decent. While none in my party said that was great', we weren't repulsed. Service was another story: the waiters, when they weren't ignoring us, were rolling their eyes and being generally rude and impatient. Word to the managers: if your service is bad...by French standards, it's BAD.

every time we come to Straßburg, we make time for a meal or drink. we often come twice even at short visits. the personal is beautiful, the brasserie is centrally located and has a beautiful atmosphere. eating is very good and is not too expensive....All together an excellent restaurant and a visit worth. This place seriously needs a visit from Gordon Ramsey! Admittedly we were a large party, but... 2 hours to get served must be a record! If we hadn't been in a party we would have left. And I suspect that this is part of the...problem. As a group you get put in a side room and forgotten about because you are captured. You can't just walk out and find another place easily with 30+ people. The food was not very tasty either, nor particularly cheap. Not to be recommended!

we came here in a large group and ordered from a set menu, the service was excellent, but the presentation and the quality of the food was lacking lust. for a starter we were served something that looked like it was intended for feline consumption. the main consisted of kartoffel noodles and a piece of dry tasteless chicken, it was extremely beige and bland. the next room we sat in an unavoidable atmosphere and too time it seemed as if we were the only ones that were controversial, it was extremely cold and they were really stingy on the brot it was not worth the expensive prices, in any case would not recommend
