"Hello, we really enjoyed “La Table de Romane”, at Maison Burgarella during our family visit. The dishes were tasty, plentiful and of high quality. And the service, given the number of seats, the preparation etc. rather quick, and smiling. The setting is friendly, a cozy modern and bistronomic atmosphere, without going overboard. As for the dishes, I personally had a tartare which was of excellent quality, without needing much seasoning (at the gates of Aubrac in an essentially agricultural department, that would have surprised me, I must say, but it is underlined)! My relatives, for their part, had lamb rice, which was also very good, it might have deserved a bit of extra seasoning, because the lamb was a little strong, but that is subjective and in no way denotes its quality. And for desserts, a real surprise, the mille-feuille was really copious and tasty, and the chocolate fondant delicious!! Given the surprising quality of the bistro , the next time I visit Espalion I will try la Tour . In summary, a bistronomic restaurant that is worth the detour!"

"A real knife beef tartar, organic Aubrac! When I came back from 9 days on Compostela Road, after a lot of sandwiches and meals on the box and very medium, I needed some fun at the table. I'm almost by chance... This coincidence is often good. Sweet meat, perfectly worked, fine cut, perfectly arranged with capers, red onion or chalot, I don't know anymore, and a hint of slightly homemade tomato sauce, pure pleasure. The glass of red wine ended this moment. (Sorry about the quality of the photo, I didn't think I'd publish! Thank you to the chef and the breeder I met when I left the restaurant."

"Travelling through the Aveyron on Dec 31 and Jan 1st, L'Authentique was one of the restaurants recommended by the staff at Hotel de France for a New Year's Eve dinner. I was able to check out the proposed menu online and made a booking by phone. Fortunately the restaurant was only a 2 minute walk from the hotel as it was freezing cold. Service was full of smiles and the restaurant was fully booked. The single menu at 49 euros allowed for 2 choices per course. A foie-gras and fig macaron served as an amuse bouche was extraordinary. We all chose the asparagus velouté for entree, and we had deer for main. Both dishes were excellent and copious. Loosening our belts, we tackled the red fruits Charlotte for dessert and were glad of the light, refreshing taste. A very good winelist, from which we sampled some local wine, married well with the food. Add to that a glass of champagne to toast in the New Year and some homemade chocolate truffles to finish. A most enjoyable evening for us and from what I saw and heard, for all the other diners in the restaurant as well."

"We passed at the end of the shift, without even believing that there would be a place for us, ultimately there was. The choice was therefore limited but that did not prevent us from eating well. In short, friendly welcome, service which was fast, generous pizzas. No regrets."
