"I admit to my disappointment when I discovered that the Zum Simonbrau restaurant has been under new management since my last visit in September 2017. The restaurant, next to the old Bitburg brewery WAS, is one of my favorite restaurants in Bitburg. It seems to be an upscale steak house with Argentine beef and offered little of what I loved to eat there. In the past, there was always a recommendation from the boss and this is usually what I ordered. My fallback dish is always cingue carving and I was disappointed that it wasn't on the menu either. They offered Wiener Schnitzel and Jagerschnitzel. In Fairness for the restaurant, I asked them if they could make pine carvings for me and committed them. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. The peppers were too crisp and the sauce was not typical. My wife ordered Veal Cordon Bleu and she was very happy with it. The salads and potatoes were both pretty good. The service was very good and of course you cannot go wrong Bitburger Pils order. I do not expect to eat here again and wish them success as Steak House."

I expected more than onions from the pack (Gleite I think) and cheese sauce with what I think we are not made at home sparrow. Very disappointing. felt cheated.

we have had a separate room to eat since we were with about 20 people. very good to keep in rest and not disturb other guests when laughed loudly. eat fast and very tasty. always happy

a total disappointment. the classic cradle, greasy and straunta arrived, full of oil, incredible. the ossobuco was uniquely old and heated, the only note that does not avoid the evaluation is the decent Zwickl beer. .

next to the well-known Bitburger brewery is its home called "to Simonsbräu". there was only a very nice feeling ambiente, a nicely sharply made beilagensalat and a perfectly cooked cordon blue from the calf.Very good craft at reasonable prices....Herz, what do you want more? the journey to bitburg has more than rewarded!

in bitburg belongs half the town of the brewery and I have not seen any local that offers another beer (even kafkaesk.) the simonsbräu is a special flagship of the brewery, very well maintained and stylish. I still don't like the beer type, but: I can hardly remember when I last drank such a well-plucked pils, and this is really an art.

the service accepted the order and after approx. The drinks were served for 7 minutes. a minute later, the food was served. cordon bleu and also the barley dish were not freshly produced and tasted accordingly. a demand for the overwhelmed young service was unsuccessful. in the nude dish with crevettes were served as a supplement half-raw potato slices.

I dined at this restaurant two years ago after touring the Birburger Brewery. When I returned to Bitburg in August, this restaurant was at the top of my list to re-visit. Everything on the menu is good I'm sure, but I always go with the chef's special for the day. The service is excellent. Beer is of course, Bitburger! After dinner, you can go to the adjacent room where there is a beautiful bar area and relax with another Bitburger...or two.

already last year we met this stylish restaurant after a visit to the bitburger brewery. we liked to have come back this year to enjoy another time some perfectly tapped bitburger to a good bourgeois and tasty eating. we were promptly served and quickly had the cards and our first drinks. the food came approx. 20 minutes after the order. the meat was tender, the noodles al dente and the salads fresh but slightly too sharply seasoned, although this is naturally a taste. for the jump of very good to excellent lacks a little the kick at the service. here we felt that the customers were more prepared than served with a certain cordiality.
