Rossknecht Am Reithausplatz

The brewery offers seasonal menu and has a selection of local beers. The staff has been friendly the food was good and the non-alc beer is really nice!

After having a historical visit to the residence of local dukes we went to this authentic place. If you like beer you should try it. Their homemade beer was great.

It’s my forth time in this restaurant and for me it’s a reference in Ludwigsburg. Good food, large portions, quick service... And fish is fine here... Credit cards are accepted as payment method (not usual in some places in Germany) View menu

I’ve only heard good things about the restaurant but the reality was really disappointing. The food was literally not edible. My boyfriend had to send his food back and when he got a new schnitzel it still wasn’t edible. We will never eat there again.

very cozy, rustic brewery restaurant in the heart of ludwigsburg. Unfortunately, the "Swibian national court" (spätzle mit linsen und saiten) was only lukewarm. therefore only 3 points. tastefully it was very good. the service was also fast and accommodating. the well tapped beer also tasted excellent.

I was looking for a place to dinner in the open. I always want my cigarette smoke and in summer you don't have to be punished as in winter for smoking. I had seen it from the angle of view and the location was ideal. great German eating and very good beer. when I go out, I always eat local food. the restaurant in the interior is also very characteristic. the luck to find very nice diners. The staff is efficient, the ambiance is good, and the beer coaster collection on the ceiling alone makes it worth a visit. I had the seasonal brew and a Helles. Both were outstanding. My spouse enjoyed a local red wine (Trollinger). We both had steaks,...mine was the house version-with a Maultauschen and cheese spätzle. We ordered medium, and they were spot on perfect. If I’m in Ludwigsburg in the future I plan on going back!

Perhaps the portions have been smaller and the prices have risen?The times when you liked to go to the rossknecht, because it was rich and good, are unfortunately already over. nowadays you can be happy if you get more than a slice of brot when you get a sausage salad. .in winter I like to come by a visit in the ländle on a winter bock, but unfortunately it doesn't attract me as soon as I used to eat. there are enough other localities in the opposite.

Again we were there in this local restaurant with a warm and comfortable atmosphere. There is a good selection of regional meals, few of them are also available in small portions but cost about more. (This is no XXL restaurant though) There belongs two...more brewhouses to this one. One located in Ludwigsburg "Sudhaus main train station area) and Bietigheim (main pedestrian zone). Both have their own individual atmosphere. There is warm kitchen in Ludwigsburg until midnight (not on Sundays). The service was very friendly and prompt.
