Pizza buonissima e enorme."

Great! Very friendly, fast-working service. Famous good kitchen with small but for a brewhouse original card.

We picked this because of its proximity to our hotel and because we could get other beer. Steak and Schnitzel both very good. Friendly helpful server too.

A visit is highly recommended here. For a brewhouse clear map, for them all fresh and homemade, very tasty dishes, best rice meat, service very accommodating and fast. The prices are okay.

Door tal van mensen ons aanbevolen doch een teleurstelling. De obers zijn streepsjestellers - hoe meer je consumeert hoe beter je als klant wordt behandeld - ben je dit niet kijkt men je buiten. View menu

You should go to Cologne just to eat and drink at Brauhaus Reissdorf. If you walk in you may be ignored for awhile but once you are seated the table service is great. The food is delicious and reasonable price. The beer is out of this world. This is where Kolsch was born.

Absolutely huge pork knuckle! It can serve a minimum of 2 people. The skin was nice and crispy and meat was a bit salty. It was better than the pork knuckle I had at Peters Brauhaus. They have menus in English but the servers that evening didn't seem comfortable speaking English. They have a 2nd floor where you can have a private party. View menu

My new thing is-every time I'm in Cologne, Germany, I need to eat pork knuckle. My gaawd, why is it so good?? and so HUGE?!?! This place is delicious. Started with a meat platter then got the knuckle, comes with cabbage and dumpling sides. No one in our party shared and we all went home with like 10 pounds collectively of pork knuckle. lol There were 3 of us who ordered the knuckle. Left over for daaaays! Beautiful view of the Rhine river and snow (on the particular day we went). I went with Germans, so they did the translating. not sure if these folks spoke english.

I visited on a Monday mid-afternoon. As a vegetarian I asked whether it would be possible to have an omelette as there was very little on offer on the menu (a salad with a boiled egg perched on top). I was met with a very stern "NO!". No apology or politeness. I felt like I was being told off. The lady obviously has some nice characteristics as some people turned up who she knew, who were met with smiles and warmth. A request for some tap water was met with "NO!" again - most likely because the bottled water on sale is €5.90!!! I am only marking this down due to the service as my friend enjoyed his schnitzel and chips immensely. I didn't really enjoy my extremely salty bowl of chips (minus a...

"In a 5-day stay in Cologne and as a lover of Indian cuisine, we had planned the Ginti. The visit took place on Monday to the beginning of noon. The reception was very friendly and cordial by the Lord of the House. The decor in Ginti is very modern, stylish, but also somewhat sterile and only very discreet supplements with Indian accessories. Young guests will probably find favors in the style of the institution. The place was still empty and so there was a chance to get a brief conversation with the mistress of the house. She brought us the menus, and there were Papadam with three from a culinary point of view pretty boring finished dives. We chose both a mango sauce as a drink that was thin and most likely prepared on the basis of a mango powder. Disgusting! I ordered as main dish Malai Kofta, vegetable balls in a mild curry sauce with ginger, garlic, almonds and coconut. This is not only one of my favorite Indian dishes, but it is also a dish that places higher requirements on a kitchen and therefore cannot be found in any Indian restaurant on the menu. In addition, quality and freshness can be well valued with this bowl. I ordered this dish with a higher sharpness, but not through the sauce, but ultimately through the vegetable balls themselves. The latter were produced excellently and their loose inner composition had the freshness of the preparation felt. This was undoubtedly a 5-star court. My accompaniment had opted for Tandoori King Prawn Masala, marinated royal cloves from Tandoor in a sauce with tomatoes, cashew nuts and raisins. This dish was also very tasty, rather mild and very generous in the number of shrimps. The rice was served unfavorably on an open bowl and had to measure any fragrance and aroma that could originate from cardamom capsules or spice cloves. After the main dishes were convinced, we were curious about the Indian ice cream, Kulfi. This came visually well over a carrot cut into slices, but could not be along tasteful. It was crystallized, little creamy and the aromas of the aforementioned mango powder were reappeared. Conclusion: a highly recommended Indian restaurant due to the excellent main dishes, but not yet matured in its culinary periphery. Therefore, provisionally three stars with an inclination to four."
