"So I found myself and my family wandering around Cardiff on Fathers day and looking for something to eat. We stopped off in Brewhouse and after looking at the menu decided to eat here. Initially we thought that it was closed as nobody was about and very nearly left but then as if by magic the barmaid appeared. Anyway she was very apologetic as she had been cleaning out back. No problem we thought and ordered our food. It turned up very quickly and I have to say the burgers were really nice and the fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside . I would go so far as to day it was as good as anything 5 guys have to offer at a fraction of the price."

We did the beer and whiskey masterclass and it was brilliant. A nice variety of beers and whiskey with explanations of each. The food after was also good.

Great food and lovely brewery. Excellent selection of beers and ciders. I particularly appreciated the nonalcoholic (0.5% beers on tap. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting, with lots of sitting space.

We went to the restaurant for lunch and were impressed by the beautiful environment. We ordered 3 small plates, a 1/4 chicken set, and drinks. Everything was absolutely delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant.

This charming pub near the National Express Coach Station has a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The only downside is that their prosecco prices are the most expensive in the area, making it difficult to visit regularly for drinks. The Cricketers offers better prices.

Stopped off for a pit stop. Haven't been here for years. I think it used to be called something else. My brother treated me to a meal, and my 10oz steak was beautifully succulent, tender, and moist. I highly recommend this establishment for good food and drinks in a relaxed atmosphere, with indoor and outdoor seating.

Easy to find, lots of parking, standard pub food experience. It has a fantastic location inside of Sophia gardens, surrounded by lovely walks and sports facilities, and also has plenty of parking. The pub has plenty of outdoor seating both covered and uncovered, as well as a lovely conservatory alongside the original pub. Beers brewed in-house, interesting deco, easy to order via the app.

Was waiting for the roast for 2hrs. Everytime we went to the bar to order they would keep insisting that it would be a further 20 minutes until we can order; which happened multiple times. When we were finally able to order it they were rude and didn't offer any compliments for inconvenience. Once the food arrived a hair was found in one of our meals, the meat was chewy and the potato's were soggy. Then to top all of this off the glass in which they gave us one of drinks in was ridden with lipstick. Won't be returning for the roast ever again which is a shame because the first time I had it, it was really good.

I had a disappointing Christmas Eve meal with my family at this restaurant. The lack of basic customer service was evident as we waited for our table despite having made a reservation. It was unclear if we needed to place our order at the bar, as there was no children's menu and several items from the main menu were unavailable. The food was mediocre at best and no one checked in to see if we wanted dessert or coffee. It was no surprise that the restaurant was emptying out by 6:30 pm. The child's meal we ordered (Mac and Cheese, pictured) for £6 was unacceptable. Previous experiences at this restaurant were better, but this visit was a letdown.

"cafe citta is a tiny little restaurant that is worn away and is very inconspicuous. if they have not made extensive food research, they might miss it at the end because it looks impressing from the outside. I recommend to them however to go an effort because if they are looking for authentic Italian food in cardiff, cafe citta should definitely do on their list! atmosphere: it is a very small restaurant with barely walking. the tables are small and crampy, so when they come with more than 3 people, I recommend to them a booking well in advance. but despite being small, the decoration is really charming. it felt more like going into someone's living room than a real restaurant! there were flowers each table with beautiful wooden tables, whose table legs were decorated in very ornate style, and cool paintings on the wall as well! customer service: excellent, could not be better. not only the personal friendly, but they were also very attentive and made sure that our table was well clarified without having to say anything at all! Food: that was excellent. as an appetizer we had the caprese, which was fresh buffalo mozzarella with a beautiful sauce and fresh tomato. the mozzarella was fantastic and really very fresh. we also ordered the polenta al ragu and the bolognese soße, which accompanied the polnta was fantastic! for a pornstar, I ordered the pollo alla romana, which was a whole chicken breast with sage, parma ham, and a side of kartoffel and salat boiled. we also had a garlic pizza to share. they gave us chili oil and parmesan on the side for extra spices. everything was great! I am usually not too excited to order chicken breast in a restaurant, but it was extremely juicy I didn't know that chicken breast could be so tender! there were great aromas everywhere. the only negatiw is that I recommend to give them the garlic pizza. it was quite bland and needed half a quantity of chili oil and parmesan to save it. overall I recommend cafe citta. next time, I would try one of her pasta dishes, how my partner swept over his tagliatelle carbonara!"
