"It's always good to find an independent cafe that I've never been to before so we popped in for cake and coffee on a winter morning whilst shopping. It took ages for someone to come to our table to take our order, even though there seemed to be plenty of people serving and it was nowhere near full. Eventually a sullen-faced girl came over and we ordered. We had flat whtes which were too bitter and not to our taste; my son's babyccino was huge and boiling hot. I had the Mars bar cake: it was clear that very little Mars had been used in the making of said cake. Husband had the custard tart which he enjoyed. There wasn't enough to draw us back in future."

Whilst the lunchtime food is good the service is excruciatingly slow.I waited ages to be served then a further long wait for the food to be made. No sense of urgency . Never again for a takeaway lunch

Brioche is a great little cafe, good breakfast and lunch options and a bit of a gem tucked away. I particularly like the Parma panini and steak Canadian. The breakfast and burger is very good aswell. The rocky road and other cakes are great aswell. I've found the service polite, helpful and quick.

My partner and I came today for brunch and we were not disappointed. I ordered cappuccino and poached eggs, he ordered latte with a mini breakfast both very delicious, well priced and served with a smile. The staff are very friendly and polite. The bistro is rustic and chic, clean and a lovely place to visit.

We went today for afternoon tea before I start chemo on Monday. Lovely. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Afternoon tea was absolutely delicious. Me, my daughter, granddaughter and 12 week old great granddaughter were made very welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Will definitely go again. Thanks girls.

Saw the good reviews so decided to try for lunch. We were ignored and not welcomed when we arrived. Stood waiting and being ignored for 5 minutes until a waitress told us that they are full downstairs and aren’t using the additional seating. They could have told us they were full instead of ignoring us and making us stand around waiting. They didn’t even say hi to us. Poor service and everyone looked miserable

Whilst visiting Clithoroe we asked at two shops for a recommendation for a sandwich and a drink. Both recommended Brioche and how right they were. A friendly welcome on arrival, a good selection of food and drinks. Highly recommend the Canadian beef sandwich and the Club sandwich both served with a very good coffee and a tea. The club sandwich was so large we left; with half in a box. Excellent food and service at a very reasonable price. Next time we visit Clithoroe we will return without hesitation.

Found this gem 3 weeks ago whilst on holiday in Lancashire. Nice table with a view from the window out onto the street. We liked it so much we returned there before we went onto our next stay in Yorkshire. The home baked cakes were divine, fresh, and served by a very pleasant and friendly young assistant, who went through all the choices of cake individually for me to make my selection. He also helped us with queries we had regarding the local area. The coffee was freshly made and delicious. Very good experiencde, and excellent value for money. We will certainly return when we visit Clitheroe in the future. Thankyou.

"I wasn't at blueberries with my friends since before covid so it was great to kick through the door and see how busy it is, fortunately I had a table for lunch. there is nothing special vegan on the menu, but they try to place their very hardest, in contrast to some places. I love a jacket kartoffel and choose her beats with various items from the menu, so ordered frying and avocado. katherine, one of the owners and cook came on our table and said she could suggest some other dishes and also vegan cheese if I did not the jacket kartoffel, but if I still did how about the topping of sonbs. what a nice geste and I will visit her on her offer of other options at the next. I noticed that they were able to offer vegan options for their Christmas card and also had two vegan, frozen meals to take away, moussaka and chili. my friends ordered a chicken and specksalat and a fish and chips and both said that eating was delicious with a mention that the chips were the best. my kartoffel was huge, with a lot of topping, served with beautiful salat and quickly grinded. the food is made fresh to order and blueberries is very popular as full it was on a cold Wednesday afternoon. there is also a small marquee on the side of the blueberries, which for those who are brave and sitting the weather and of course adds extra space. I really can't knock blueberries, they may not have vegan options (although a cake would be nice and I need to ask if they have plant milk as I always have my own. but they will always try to eat rusty something satisfying and with announcing can something like a vegan hotpot that I had before, what was brilliant."
