"Once seated, and after a considerable wait, we finally got to order drinks. My daughter asked for a coke we were told there was none, so she ordered one of their cocktails instead. We waited, and waited. I chased the drinks. Finally they came (although not my coffee I had to chase that again twice and then it came without the milk I had asked for. We had to wait ages to order food (different waiter and when my son asked what juice was available he was told there was actually coke, so we ordered two of those too! When the food eventually came it was fine, although my husband was a bit perturbed by the tiny portion of chips , and the coke was delivered with the caps on so we had to wait again for someone to come to open them. My daughters cocktail was the most vile concoction any of us had ever tasted, the barman must have no taste buds at all. So far, it was not a relaxing and enjoyable experience, more like a drawn out method of torture, only to get worse. My son had ordered ribs, which were priced at 4 euro. The menu they gave us was all in english, bar one teeny wee bit that we didn't catch, which was that (in small print and in italian the ribs were priced per hg, which is apparently a hectagram, which is a commonly used weight measurement according to the staff member REALLY because I've never come across it before. I'd expect a cut of steak of whatever to be per grammes, or KG, but not ribs, so hadn't even thought to look. And when my son ordered, no one asked how much, or came back to say how much his dish would be. So when we got the bill, the ribs were 24 euros. We were paying inside, and the member of staff was muttering away under his breath as we were talking with the other member of staff. My spoken italian is not great, but my understanding of it is much better, but tbh, you'de need to have been an idiot not to have figured out what he was saying. There was no leeway offered at all, nor apology for the lack of communication about the cost of the dish, or the bad service overall, and as for the way we were treated when paying the bill..... A completely shambolic and offensive experience that left me rigid with anger. We had had a lovely day out, and wanted to do some more exploring before heading home but because of the amount of time it took us to have this meal, it left us too late to really do any more before heading away so it finished our day badly. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!"

The location of the restaurant is lovely, in the middle of historical center. The food was very tasty and prices are reasonable, fast service.

Ristorante all'aperto in pieno centro. Piatti ricchi e particolari. Personale cordiale. Non proprio economico View menu

We had a pleasant walk around this beautiful city and wanted to have some refreshing drinks. Communicative and friendly waitresses helped us with the right decision. Cocktails on the balcony. The signature Spritz was with strawberries and some ginger beer best drink in a long time!

Touring Sicily and stopped in for a late lunch. We ordered Caprese , Crocchette di patate and Spaghetti alla Carbonara. None of the dishes came out at the same time. The Caprese was more of a salad with a ball of mozzerella. The Spaghetti alla Carbonara was correctly cooked. For a great place on the plaza they need to up their game. Service was OK.

In a very pleasant location, in a pedestrian area of the old Scicli, this restaurant and his open air terrace offers you a very good moment for a quick lunch. Affordable prices, quick and efficient staff, a menu with different varieties of salads, pasta, meat dishes, deserts make this place a good surprise, with no pretention, in a great environment. Everything was good from starter till coffee....Highly recommended. Thanks View menu

Having visited the 'police station ' from Montalbano opposite, we wanted a light lunch and this was perfect. We did try a restaurant a bit further up but they weren 't very welcoming not the case here. The staff were very friendly and service was prompt. My husband had a filled roll which was freshly made and I had the cake of the day which was delicious. The salads that were served at a table by us looked incredible. Reasonable prices and spotlessly clean toilet. Would happily eat here again.

We had lunch here because it was conveniently located on the main historic street of Scicli, and had a varied menu. The food did no disappoint: a traditional Sicilian salad of fennel and orange, followed by the pasta of the day for my husband (excellent artichoke ravioli in sage- butter sauce with speck) and a burger di spada for me. The burger was tasty, with excellent tomatoes and arugula, and they were happy to put the tartare sauce on the side. The server was efficient, friendly, and was happy to suggest a wine but not pushy. Pretty hard to beat the experience in a touristic part of Scicli! But then, we have yet to eat badly here!
