"Absolutely one of the greatest dining experiences I have had in my life. I have been to quite a few Michelin 1 and 2* as well as twice to 3* but this was the level of a very high quality 2* experience for a lunch menu. Truly attentive and professional staff and the presentation had an aesthetic excellently balanced. Above all the food was incredible. All was so thoughtfully prepared and by the end my face was hurting because I realized I had been smiling for two hours! Book asap because this restaurant is something of an actual gem. Surely within the year Michelin will recognize their excellence because it was just that perfect of an experience which is very hard to come by nowadays."

Food and service unfortunately not the best, overall quite unpolished. Wines were good though

The restaurant was fabulous. Personnel was very attentive- but not too much. Options were proposed and food and presentation was excellent.

Very few restaurants I would go back to but this is one of them. Extensive Burgundy wine list with a few wines that are well priced below the market rate

So much creativity with the fresh ingredients. Modern and bold use of seafood and fish, which we love. We enjoyed the wine pairing and they also custom made some meals for our two young children. We thoroughly enjoyed the food here, which lived up the reputation of Lyon as the gastronomic capital of France.

"My wife and I dined here on a Saturday night (having made a reservation several days in advance), and it was one of the best dining experiences we have had in France in a long time. We reserved for the early seating, showed up on time, and were among the first customers there. We had a small table near the door. The disadvantage is that we were occasionally wafted by a cold draft from the front door. The bigger advantage was that we were sitting near the restaurant's beautiful, precision, hand-operated meat slicer. The specialty starter is beef that has been cured for seven months with seven spices. It is sliced paper thin (and that is no exaggeration) and served heaped on a plate. Heavenly. My wife and I ordered only one of these plates and it was more than ample for the two of us.That was followed by our starters. I ordered the minestrone marocain légèrement épicé comme à Tanger (Moroccan minestrone, lightly spiced as in Tangiers), and my wife the rillettes de crabe aux petits légumes et Granny Smith (shredded crab with little vegetables and pieces of Granny Smith apple). Both were delicious. For our main dishes I had a pavé de cerf (deer steak), which was ample and perfectly cooked. My wife had fish, also cooked to perfection. I don't recall the wine we ordered, but the choice was from wines that were at their peak (not just wines one or two years old), yet the prices were reasonable. One remark about the decore: it manages to be a bit traditional and modern at the same time, with reproductions of paintings by Modigliani and various early 20th-century (mainly French) artists adorning the wall.Overall, a restaurant worth going out of your way for."
