tried to go here for a coffee, but the place looked out of cigarette smoke. they allow smoking inside, so it explains. not my type of space. if you like to smoke, they will probably enjoy it.

went there for cocktails, so can not comment on the coffee. the staff was very nice and available outside seats, although it is also very cozy. clean toilets. not a great selection of cocktails, but they have the classics

Very cozy, collapsed (in the positive sense) Decor gives the bar charm. The drinks are delicious and are relatively cheap with 6-7 euros. For this purpose, the music that never overwhelms your own conversations in the band. Young, mixed, discreet audience. I'm glad to come back! View menu

I visited this bar with friends over the weekend when staying in the locality after reading reviews. Great drinks, staff, choice of music, location. The place is so good that when ended up going back the next night for another few hours' after visiting other...bars in the neighbourhood!!

sweet furnished bar / sweet cafe with colorful living room furniture. was here in the afternoon and found it great. the other night again. super full. many hipster and touris. the service is super nice, even if the single cocktail bar, which is located off the main bar, is simply too small, the poor lady behind it must wash off everything individually and that immediately because the bar is simply not so well equipped. we had to wait for our 3 cocktails forever. tasteful and pricey but full in order.

From the environmental point of view it could be cool and in with all the old second or third hand antiques- a mix of everything put together like from a fleemarket, on the other side, very well arranged and not tacky at all. This morning...cafe/ brunch/ coffeehouse/ bar and late hangout place has definately it's own atmosphere, the music varies from retro to electro and the barkeepers are always super friendly even in the most busy hours of the night. People frequenting this place are colorful and from high school to start up businesses. One of the most interesting places to go when you want to hang out in the Helmholz area. View menu

Anyway, there is a smoking section but it is well to the back and although sat close to it, I was not really bothered by it....The furniture is mis-matched, probably quite self-consciously so, and the space we sat in had cutesy mock curtain on windows decoration on the walls, and a fab bar-like set up as if it was a dream living room from the sixties. I just had a horrible experience at the Wohnzimmer. My boyfriend and I came in for a few caipis. They tasted like pure cachaça, even after mixing them up a bit. So naturally, I took them up to the bar and told the woman bartender...that they tasted like pure liquor, not like lime and sugar. She then rudely snapped at me “what do you want me to do about it? Make you new ones or add some sugar?” raising her arms in an agressive way. Taken aback by her incredibly rude response, I paused for a moment, and then said “well, if you don’t mind, can you make new ones?” She then responded “well actually, I DO mind.” I was so shocked by this response that I just turned around, put the crappy drinks on...
