"for four years we are here, especially for coffee and odd snack. this year I came with a friend for a week to see the newly renovated restaurant area and bar amazing and offer a real wow in comparison to the old. then the food arrived and it was double wow. we have eaten three times in a week. good selection suitable for all flavors and so well presented and cooked. I am so glad that I have a holiday home close and I am pleased to see not only the changes in the decor, space and with the sanation, but also the way the food has changed completely. feta starter, king prawns, veal, fish and of course the great French burger!. friend was peskatarian and they felt they had good choice. has joined the owners and team for it so a great place in our beautiful marciac!."

Lovely Brasserie in the heart of Marciac. Recently refurbished. Not eaten here before but had a lovely meal. Really well presented . I had the Burger . Gourmet plus . Salmon and Lamb dishes we had equally good.

Really enjoyed our lunch on the sunny terrace with plenty of parasols. Great ‘burger maison’ would have it again anytime. All of the staff were friendly and worked with smiles on their faces. Dogs and doggy bags no problem.

This is a lovely place to eat at lunchtime and also during the Jazz. The Menu du Jour' changes daily and is very good value. Staff are helpful and cheerful although they do get busy. Thoroughly recommend their House Beefburger and also the goats cheese...salad. Nice atmosphere inside too as it has retained all the old features. Try it and see for yourselves.

Went for lunch with our family and when we arrived the terrace wasn't that busy. yet we had to wait quite some time before being brought the menus. Same with the drinks, our food arrived and the beers/wine not, had to ask 3 different staff...to finally get our drinks. The food was fine, but because throughout the lunch we had to ask for our drinks so many times, and then for water and bread, we concentrated on the poor service rather than the quality of the food. At the end, a new staff appeared and came to apologize for all the delays, explaining that it was the first day for his colleague and that they were very aware of the deficiencies of the service that day, we appreciated the situatio...

"La Fabrique is a pleasant little bistro-style restaurant situated behind the main square in Marciac. In winter or in bad weather the number of covers is fairly limited, probably about 30. However there are a number of tables outside, so in the summer the capacity will probably be double that at least. The interior is simply furnished and quite compact, which gives the place nice a buzzy feel. The menu is limited, but with a fair level of variety. There is an interesting choice of tapas for a starter and then, apart from a couple of huge salads, there is a choice of four dishes for the main course. Between us, our party sampled three. The thai style duck was really tasty. The fish main course was very well received and the entrecote steak was nicely cooked, if a little chewy. There was a fair range of sweets and the café gourmand was very good indeed. Our party ate in the evening. The three courses on a table d’hote basis came to about 25 euros which, given the overall quality, seemed very good value. There was a good selection of wine to choose from, much of it being sourced locally from St Mont and Madiran. Prices were reasonable and several came out at less than 20 euros a bottle. The service was efficient and the staff all very helpful and friendly. La Fabrique is a good alternative to the pricier restaurants in the main square. In the summer, even outside the Jazz Festival, Marciac is pretty busy so it is probably worth booking in advance. It is even better value at lunch time, but I would warmly recommend it as a place for well-prepared food, in a pleasant environment, at a very reasonable price."
