"A few hours to kill before the flight back to England following a weekend at Le Mans. About 20 of us arrived on spec and they accommodated readily us across a few tables.Quite I mpressed with the food. My salmon was beautifully presented and tasted great. I thought I was going to have food envy with my colleagues who had the gorgeous looking buffet selection (€27), but I didn't. It took a while to arrive but was worth the wait. But it should be at €22.My fillet of sea bream (filet de Durade - €24) was very tasty and nicely cooked but no attempt had been made to crispen the skin, which was a shame. The accompanying vegetables were well cooked, seasoned and very fresh. My colleagues seemed to mostly enjoy what they had but I did not have food envy with their mains either. Apparently the fois gras was not the best but only OK.€8 for 1L of water is a bit steep. €39 was OK for a bottle of very nice rosé wine; so much so that 4 of us got through 3 in total! €5.40 per coffee. The service was a bit chaotic. We had to ask for bread and repeat a request for more wine. It was a bit of a task to get attention from any of the staff to request things. But they were all very friendly and helpful, with nothing getting lost in translation.I see now that they only charged us for 6 of the 8 dishes we had so I guess the slightly chaotic service worked to our advantage. We did not realise this at the time."

Les Saisons is one of several reasons we are not likely to stay again at the Sheraton Paris Airport Hotel. Once there, upon late arrival and in need of food we had only two choices, Les Saisons and room service. If forced to choose again we'd go for room service if only to avoid having to deal with the unpleasant, even mean attitude of the restaurant server staff. Food was so-so. Overall an unfortunate way to spend a few of our last hours before leaving France after an otherwise wonderful two weeks during which everywhere else we experienced over-the-top friendly service and great food. We wanted to go to bed early, because of an early morning flight to NYC. So, we choose this restaurant (prices are considerably better than Les Etoiles) and we had already tried the disappointing conditions of The Galaxy Bar (separate review). Here service was very friendly and efficient, so much so that we gave them additional tip, even though all is included. French onion soup was the best I've ever had (but of course!), Legumes Tiedes were truly lousy and the wine list very limited and expensive, but hey, that's what you get when you are captive audience: it's not like you can walk across the street to another restaurant for dinner.

This, we were told, is part of the Sheraton. It didn't taste like it.We ordered the plat du jour, beef with pleurotes and potato wedges. The beef had been cut up in little pieces before being cooked, which even home cooks know often results in tough little nuggets that look and taste boiled. The brown fluid this kind of cooking usually produces made an unsavory little soup at the bottom of the plate. As for the pleurottes, I believe that if you put all the tiny slivers of that mushroom back together, each plate probably contained a quater of a mushroom. A small one. Some of our potato wedges were burned. The bill was the only thing Sheratonesque. The waitress was very nice and very sorry...
