casual afterbarschaft restaurant. the menu is quite short, but has simple dishes of Portuguese cuisine with a good mix of seafood and meat. I ordered.

even if the old beer (in düsseldorf) was sold out, the service has convinced us fully. always very friendly and attentive. eating (mixed appetizer plate and dorado with potatoes and salat) was top. also the other dishes on the black board made appetit.

I'm from barcelona, Spain, and it's my first time to get a real Portuguese restaurant outside portugals. farando, the owner, is a nice person and his eating is true. caldo verde well seasoned and bacallao with sweet excelente. good weine and music....Bravo!

This restaurant is lovely. It is small and cozy, which adds a romantic feel to the place. The food is delicious- the seafood is seasoned but not overly so, with lots of lemon and fresh herbs. The wine is also very good and everything comes...at a good price. The staff is incredibly nice, this is one of our special gems in Dus!

the local is very full, but you sit well and the service is friendly. eating is not necessarily typical Portuguese, but it tastes quite ok. disproportionately high are the prices. five small garnels as an appetizer for 7,- € - quite happy. thunfischsteak 17,90 € as well as the glass house wine 4,90 € (which was really 0.2 l,?) also not cheap. this is quite nice for several people and is not to be compared with portugal at all. from here, nicer visit, but it's probably gonna be the only one. rather "even enough" is more satisfying, because lacking would be too hard. I'm sorry.

we waited 1h 15 min for eating and the restaurant wasn't even full. Whenever we asked where our food is or how long it takes, they still said a few minutes. they were friendly. about eating. I know how good Portuguese food...taste and my fish plate was nothing special, white fish was the most tasty, the rest was really cut and the fried fish was terrible. they should not even offer fried fish, terrible idea! what I find ridiculous is not the possibility to pay with the card in today's world, how can they afford it at all? old school! I'm not coming back. o clube portugues not far from cafe luso is definitiw a better option, they just have to book the place in advance.

A nice n cosy family run restaurant with lots of atmosphere. The food is excellent and made to order and you can taste the freshness. Even with a limited menu, you don't feel stuck or feel a lack of choices. If you are a fish lover then you will be in heaven. I've tried their fish and the chicken. during the visit in düsseldorf we wanted to eat Portuguese food. we called a few restaurants, but most were full, but fortunately this place had space for 8 people. it is about 10 minutes to walk from the city center. the menu was written on the wall, there...was a lot of traditional Portuguese meal available.
