Cafe Noir - Menu

Just small cafe with all of the tables for 4 people. The man was fairly pleasant, seems more friendly with his regulars. Quite nice food and nice coffee

Easily the best cappucino and espresso in Southend. Refreshingly honest, quality Italian food served on plates, not slates and if you need to sit outside for a fag, it's quieter than some other roadside locations.

the personal is very attentive, constantly clean. the place is a bit small and quite crowded, so it feels a bit cramped in the inner but nothing unpleasant, there are also tables outside when they prefer it. overall, very tasty eating and very good experience! View menu

Had the Jumbo Breakfast, the eggs were not runny, the bacon was so crispy that it resembled pork scratchings. The hash browns were over cooked and after dropping my toast on the floor it wasn't replaced. The sausage was amazing but sadly it resembled a cocktail sausage

Found this by chance while shopping with my daughter this morning and what a find it was. We both had a full English which was cooked from fresh and all the produce was of high quality. Will definitely be going back if only for the friendly atmosphere and being spoken to in Italian!

A small but very friendly cafe. The food is yummy and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I was able to sit outside and enjoy my tea and cake. They have new seating now which is a bit posh. But still the same old positive atmosphere where I could have a quick snack and just watch the world go by. View menu

We sat outside Cafe Noir to eat breakfast. It smelt of good coffee and looked really appealing, we thought we had found a little gem of a place. We ordered 2 large breakfasts, the eggs were hard, the bacon was really really chewy, I'm not sure if the sausage was off or just a strange taste, however, I couldn't eat it. It is cash only, so if you do go, you need to know that but there is a cash machine in the bank next door. My advice though is go anywhere else, just not here!

Discovered this cafe a few years but due to covid we haven't been back until yesterday and today only to discover that it's been taken over by Simone and what a pleasant surprise. The coffee was as good as before and lunch was freshly cooked and very tasty add to that very jovial and friendly staff made this a very pleasant atmosphere and visit .we wish you luck with your new venture. Our friends has travelled down from Sheffield to stay with us for the new year and said it was worth the trip just for the coffee. See you again soon.

I have been coming here for several years, ever since I discovered calves liver on their board. I'm there probably twice or three times a month (when open during current restrictions). It's always the same for me calves liver and bacon. The liver is always tender and melts in the mouth and the bacon is slightly crispy a perfect blend. Served with crispy French fries and a generous salad (ripe tomato, cucumber, onion, not too much lettuce). I am not sure how healthy it is, but it is delicious. With a mug of tea, it was £10 including a tip before the lockdown. Luigi gives a warm welcome! View menu
