A very nice glass of red wine actually) and the Bolognese made for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Appeared to have lots of locals and...a warm friendly atmosphere. One waitress seemed to tend the whole place and she did a great job. If you don't stop by for dinner, stop by the bar and order a drink. it is worth the stop."

Kastanie is very simple restaurant, the service is good, the food as well and you meet all kind of different people there. Because of the close location to the fair, the booth builder and the manager go there. Every year I go there at times and I`m never disappointed.

very good location near the Düsseldorf fair ground , this is not the typical German restaurant but they offer a good variety of choices from german to indian food. the wiener schnizel are tasty , service is great and wine also. A bit pricey as near the fair , they also offer a large outdoor steating .
