"We really wanted to like this place, seeing as how some Parisian friends had recommended it when we were exploring the neighborhood. Sadly, this truly was our worst meal in Paris. First off, the gentleman who waited on us was not the friendliest I've ever...encountered. When we ordered our meals, he didn't even ask us if we wanted anything to drink before running off. He came back about 10 minutes later to ask if we would like something to drink. We ordered the asparagus soup with morels to share, and there was no discernible asparagus. It was very much a mushroom soup, which is fine, and it was the best part of a terrible meal, but that's not what we believed we were ordering. I had ordered a salad, but was told that there were no vegetables, which was disappointing. We both had steaks, and both of them were very rare, and very tough. I prepare far better steak at home. The fries were okay, but nothing special. Bottom line, we paid far too much for unpleasant food and indifferent service."

This place is close by so I hit it from time to time. I had the plat du jour which was a blanquette de veau and a salad. I would return as the food and venue were decent.

we chose this little neighboring bistro near our hotel in the marais. the staff was friendly and friendly. that was extraordinary. I had escargots and skallops. the scallops were the tenderest and sweetest I ever had. my wife had mushroom soup and. flan both steak tasty. the presentation was new and pleasant our potatoes were served in a copper pan with carmelized wobbles. the wine that a rose from corsica was delicious. I ate there one night and had fries with angus carpaccio and a salad and snails. The fries were really nice, very light, not fatty, but still crispy and fresh. The carpaccio was too tough, the slices too thick. The snails came with estragon butter,...very tasty. Service was average, a bit like it used to be in Paris 6 years ago, indifferent, a bit arrogant, and had to find him to deliver my order. Now it is much better in Paris, waiters are usually very friendly and know good english. The crew of this place needs to catch up.

my wife and I are now in paris, on our fifth day. we have seen the good and the bad, especially the good. cafe truc is on a hidden away and I suspect that the dings do not go well due to the bad situation. Maybe I'm wrong. this place is a head scratch. as a pretty knowledgeable wein lover they have an incredibly curated weincard from amazing flax to reasonable praise. the personal is chic. but from the moment when we set ourselves up, until the moment we had the impression when we sat outside on a beautiful day and were among a total of four customers, among them the two that we were annoyed. we were seen as tres gauche and maybe we are, but I smiled and made fun of me and asked for everythi...

"the food was super super good!! i had a grilled beef with green lime as starter and it was the best food i have ever eaten in France i have to say!! of course a visit to a Thai restaurant would not be complete without trying their green curry and it was really good as well. i would be going to this restaurant again and trying other menus..a bit on the pricy side but with the fork/ la fourchette discount, it helps to reduce the price a little bit. really that was really a perfect meal i had a fresh coconut drink from the shell itself, a superbly amazing starter, and a very good chicken green curry for the main. If u go in couple, it would be nice to share, as the portion is quite big, and u can order the beef grilled starter, and 2 main dishes to share, and to be eaten with steamed rice, which is the normal way Asians eat at home! the waitresses don't speak english, that was fine for me as i speak a bit of French. even when they don't speak english, i could tell that they are very friendly, and tried to interact with us as much as possible. I am living in France currently and there is some truth when the general says french waitress are some of the worst u can get with their slow service, but this one was definitely different. . Food came quickly and they seem very nice people. I went with a friend as we had a crave for Thai food and after some research from Trip Advisor, we had some options and Im really glad that we chose this (as it has a discount from La Fourchette which was a very good marketingPLUS point for them! it worked for them at least in our case ;) )all in all, U GUYS HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE."
