we were once again in the dolce vita and as always very satisfied. a well made calf liver and also the pasta could convince. also an attentive and friendly service. we weren't there last time.

Very nice and cozy place, good service and fully Italian taste bite after bite, wine also in balance with the food.At the end homemade food it’s the best and you can really enjoy it as should be, no comercial, just ….. Real Italian. Thanks for a fantastic evening.

we were in Latvian times more often in the la dolce vita. it is very tasty there and also the pizza is very good. the service is top. you are greeted as if you were 10 years old. you feel comfortable right away. in recklinghausen this is the best Italian. also the lunch table for small money is excellent.

were once again at the restaurant la dolce vita for dinner. had thunfisch steak with sweet and a noodle appetizer. both dishes at very good level! good prompt, friendly service and eating again very well. a very good white wine / lugana from ottella. are masters in the restaurant and are happy to come back.

After wandering around in the downtown shopping section of Recklinghausen we were getting hungry and just stumbled upon this neat Italian restaurant at the right time. The service was great, and fortunately our server spoke good English and we were able order quickly. I ordered the Pizza Gamberetti and received a very authentic thin crust pizza loaded with flavor. The atmosphere was very nice even during a busy time. Highly recommend this establishment. [hidden link]

very nice local and very central. my friend and I were there for a candle-light dinner with a groupon voucher, which we had stupidly not printed correctly and which was therefore unusable. We usually should have paid the evening. Nevertheless, we were not sent away and were allowed to enjoy our 4-course menu on a trusted basis without paying (to submit the voucher). I have to mention that we are not regulars. the food was top and the staff very accommodating, the same applies to the chef. so I imagine la dolce vita in the Italian sense....Thank you again.

Friendly staff, the bread and butter we got while waiting was tasty. The bruschetta was ok. As the main dish we ordered Penne della casa, which was very disappointing. The vegetables were barely recognizable because they were so soggy, and some of the veggies were dry and chewy. It also contained mushrooms, which isn’t written on the menu. It was just too obvious that this sad bowl of pasta and vegetables had been standing ready in the fridge for many days, waiting to be heated up. Also, I find loud party music a bit weird in an Italian restaurant like this.

nicely furnished but very loud. we were there for a 4-course candle-light dinner with a groupon coupon.Every fish or meat. no choice for individual courses and no flexibility.The quality of the courses was still satisfactory. the bark carpaccio was not good. the slices too thick, all with too much lemon and the meat quality was not great either. the complaint of my wife to this gang was overheard by the waiter. the second floor consisted of panzerotti with cheese and spinach filling in stone mushroom sauce. was really good and the highlight of the menu. after that dead-fried pork medals with pfeffer sauce and to finish as desserts a small piece of a torte from the pie grease.
