Very fine restaurant with a shady outdoor area in Udine’s old city. Terrific food and wine, together with friendly, efficient service.

we stayed in the city of new year and recommended this place for an informal lunch. we were particularly impressed by the atmosphere and courtesy of the waiter. all the dishes we have chosen have been appreciated for the preparation and the flavors that have transmitted to us. I highly recommend it.

a vegan dream! every meal on the menu was vegan (and some with glutenfree option), and really delicisous. you get a small starter and also a digestif afterwords. but i could give only 4/5 stars, cause the amount of food is a bit small for the price. very nice place! you can sit outside in a park in the middle of udine. would recommend! What shall I add I think my intro says it all. The cozy interiors match the convivial atmosphere, where a palpable sense of warmth and the staff's welcomeness are only a prelude to the stellar choice of selected courses. I tried all the high ranked restaurants in Udine, and I can definitely say that Caffè Tomaso is the best! Highly recommended!

We were advised to go there by our hotel because we wanted a terrace. It exceeded our expectations! Cafe meant for us a kind of bar/coffee place with some tables street side. We found ourselves in a lovely park, welcome by a great nice and very good staff with fantastic food on the table and glasses of one of the best wines in Friuli !Jermann Pinot Blanc 2018)! We recommend!!!

Hello, I was in this restaurant brought by a friend who knew the place. I am not of audine and I was enchanted by the elegant and romantic atmosphere of the place. we ate in the garden, a beautiful garden. the dishes were very sought after and delicious and not too expensive, given the place. the service was managed in very friendly and kind.
