"We were advised to go there by our hotel because we wanted a terrace. It exceeded our expectations! Cafe meant for us a kind of bar/coffee place with some tables street side. We found ourselves in a lovely park, welcome by a great nice and very good staff with fantastic food on the table and glasses of one of the best wines in Friuli !Jermann Pinot Blanc 2018)! We recommend!!!"

What shall I add I think my intro says it all. The cozy interiors match the convivial atmosphere, where a palpable sense of warmth and the staff's welcomeness are only a prelude to the stellar choice of selected courses. I tried all the high ranked restaurants in Udine, and I can definitely say that Caffè Tomaso is the best! Highly recommended!
