"We've visited L'horizon twice in the past 2 months, including Christmas Day. Our first visit was seafood heaven: incredibly fresh crevettes avec house-made mayonnaise and wonderful Coquilles St. Jacques served with a basket of delicious frites with the skins on. At Christmas, the enormous canard...portion was UNBELIEVABLY tasty and tender with the perfect amount of duck fat ringing each piece...The service was a little slow on Christmas, but hey, the restaurant was open on a Holiday! : We love the super-casual, funky decor and the staff makes us both feel entirely at home (writes this French-American couple ...Outstanding!!!!!!!!"

"This little bistrot is in a street of very basic eateries and therefore can easily be overlooked. It is well worth the persistence to find it. Prices are not cheap but neither should they be. This gourmet fare not a quick bite prior to rushing off. Just what French cuisine is all about! A vacation experience in itself.The plat du jour is an amazing experience. Trust the owners and go with that. It keeps the price reasonable. The choices are (currently) a 16 or 19 Euros menu of three courses. My choice gave me a fish soup I shall never forget (so creamy and delicious, with accompaniments that enhanced it to perfection) A three fish casserole (which is something I wouldn't have thought to order a la carte and was so glad I had) And dessert of Creme Brulee which had something slightly different about it but was still great. My husband had the alternatives of a salmon salade and the rest was described as heavenly. We will return to St. Brieux, if possible some time, just to eat there!"

"Franchement? Ravi d'avoir testé cette pizzeria. Belle salle où notamment on peut profiter d'une belle luminosité côté route. L'accueil est chaleureux et les pizzas que nous avons choisies étaient parfaites. Côté dessert, je retiendrai particulièrement le panettone d'une qualité supérieure. J'y retournerai quand il y aura de la place car c'est souvent complet. Mais c'est mérité."

"We loved spending our stay in the LE DUGESCLIN hotel, everything was perfect, the very spacious suite with its bathroom and shower room. The quality of service services and especially cleanliness. Breakfast was particularly hearty and the staff of the hotel particularly attentive. As for the restaurant LA TAVERNE, special mention for its gourmet cuisine. The dishes were delicious and varied. As for servers, truly adorable and eager to always please the client. In short a very nice discovery in Brittany, for which, we will not fail to recommend this establishment enjoying an excellent value for money, to all our loved ones and friends.
