"There are 2 Michelin-starred restaurants in the small town of Telese Terme. If you wonder which one to choose, let me tell you straight away: it 's the Kresios. We had dinners at the Locanda del Borgo and at Kresios back to back and there was absolutely no comparison. In terms of creativity, menu, service, ambition, Kresios fully deserves its accolades, the Locanda doesn 't. The wine list at Kresios is phenomenal, although absolutely idiosyncratic: you won 't find a single Bordeaux or any new world wine in the list, very few known producers and reference bottles. Instead, it 's a curated collection of hidden gems. On the day of our visit both the chef and the sommelier were absent, but everything was perfect regardless. Relaxed, informal and flawless. Quantity is also correct. The only thing I didn 't get is the name of the menu, Mr.Brown , a reference to the movie Reservoir Dogs . I 'm sure it makes sense in the mind of the chef, but honestly, the connection was lost on me! The menu is not as quirky as the name could suggest."

"Location incantevole immersa nel verde, curata nei minimi dettagli. Personale qualificato e accogliente. Cibo ricercato, ricco di sapori e profumi del Sannio, qualitativamente eccellente. Preparazione dei piatti molto raffinata. Ho degustato una cacio e pepe deliziosa, dei bon bon di caciocavallo di Petraroia appetitosi, dell'agnello di Laticauda tenero e gustoso, dell'uovo adagiato su mozzarella di bufala e ricoperto di croste di tartufo sensazionale. È stata un'esperienza straordinaria, culminata con dessert sorprendenti serviti dallo chef Angelo d'Amico e il suo personale, che sono venuti al tavolo per salutarci."

"relax, buon cibo e ospitalità. la locanda marzi si trova in un luogo incantato, immerso nella natura. i gestori, leucio e gemma, sono persone squisite, gentili, gentili e disponibili. il cibo è dire poco eccezionale! i piatti, sempre abbondanti e accuratamente cucinati, vengono serviti in modo impeccabile, quasi come se fossero un'opera d'arte. in conclusione, ho trascorso 3 giorni indimenticabili in totale relax della campagna ma con tutti i comfort possibili e immaginabili. Consiglio vivamente un soggiorno in questa struttura. Non te ne pentirai."

"Totally renovated pizzeria, modern place and nice large room but the pizza is always excellent. Paper menu, not a very wide choice but there are all the classics and some specials. We took a portion of chips, two pizzas (margherita with buffalo mozzarella and pizza crocché and dessert. Going by order, the chips were not abundant but the taste is unquestionable and they come with several sachets of mayonnaise and ketchup. The highlight are the pizzas, not so much the margherita with buffalo mozzarella but the crocché pizza with cooked ham and mozzarella. The croquettes had a strong taste and not the classic frozen product taste. The dough was light and the crust not very exaggerated. The only flaw is that perhaps in the center it was very very thin but passable. Finally the dessert with a choice between two options, we opted for the tiramisu with abundant mascarpone and sufficiently soaked in coffee, truly excellent. The service and staff has been exceptional and the prices are within the norm or maybe even below even. The bathrooms are modern and clean. Ah, big plus point, the knives cut on the first shot without insisting."

"Discovered this place on the recommendation of friends. Themed environment decorated with reproductions of works of art, nice but nothing special. But the pizza is excellent, the menu offers a wide choice, the prices are adequate. The impression on a full stomach is definitely better! I gladly come back when I'm in the area. The site has a large internal car park and various rooms of different sizes."
