Casa Pettinari Italienische Trattoria

Terrific food and the chef and server were able to cater to gluten free, dairy free and vegan dietary needs without batting an eye. Everyone at the table was happy, and this was only days after the restaurant opening!

we went into this restaurant during our overnight in the beautiful residential home and it is really nice experience. I ordered vegetarian tagliatelle pasta (she made it vegetarian as it was with fish on the menu), really adaptable friendly ppl.

I visited with my tante and eating, ambiente and service were simply excellent. they are a family business and put a lot of care in the menu and wine selection. we had the bruschetta romana as starter and I really enjoyed the polpa e...patata here is one must enjoy!

we went to this restaurant because of the good reviews they have. we were quite disappointed. eating is okay, but nothing more than that. it was lacking taste and was nothing from the ordinary. the courtyard has a very sad view of the street and surrounding buildings, and it is not at all cozy. the service is good and very friendly.

this restaurant felt like a family in which they invite from the approach. eating was fantastic, the dessert recipes of the mother were amazing and the personally roasted espresso of the vater was the perfect finish. the farm was wrapped in grapes and they feel like they are not in the middle of a city, near a road. it was very cozy, personal and child-friendly. I always take our guests back there. I'm glad we found it!

We were in Rudesheim as part of a stop on the Viking Hlin cruise. We found this restaurant on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. Very reasonably priced. The Italian food is phenomenal and tastes like they are making it just for you in...their home kitchen. Our waitress was the daughter and she translated everything for us and did not disappoint on her recommendations. All four of us had different dishes and after sampling one another's meals agreed that all were the best Italian we have ever tasted. Note: the menu is in German, but the waitress makes it easy for you to order. The wine was good too. A must do in Rudesheim!

While cruising on the Rhine our boat stopped in Rudesheim for the afternoon/evening. One of the crew members recommended Casa Pettinari. This family owned restaurant has maybe some of the BEST Italian food we've had anywhere! Who knew you had to be in Germany to...get this quality of homemade food! Our server, Laura, was the owner's daughter, she was Wonderful and spoke great English to help us out with the menu which was in German. We chose a Buffalo tomato salad that was uniquely prepared. We found the restaurant on Trip Advisor and thought we would take a chance we were not disappointed. Laura the owners daughter suggested she surprise us by course, what a great surprise. We started off with a platter of assorted appetizers everything was delicious and...the eggplant was off the charts, it was followed up by a platter of 5 different kind of pasta, and again everything was incredible. We then had a platter of meat and fish that was delectable. We were so stuffed after our meal that we didn't even have coffee or dessert because we could not fit another thing. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Casa Pettinari tonight. We were an adult party of 4. The atmosphere was quaint and relaxed. It is a family owned restaurant and your food is cooked to order. My husband has a nut allergy and they were able...to make the dish he wanted without nuts. The service was excellent and the prices were reasonable. I personally had the fish soup and the octopus dish and both were phenomenal! The octopus was grilled and it was served with potatoes in a brown sauce.
