"We recently had a family gathering at this new restaurant that looked promising. Although we were surprised by the lack of parking upon arrival, it didn't affect our overall experience. The cozy village-style pub/bistro created a nice atmosphere despite its small size. The staff were friendly and welcoming, but unfortunately, the service was slow. We had to wait for 20 minutes at times and had to go to the bar ourselves to order drinks and menus. The food was different from what was advertised online, and some items were unavailable. While the food was okay, it wasn't outstanding. My wife didn't enjoy the seafood platter and left most of it, while the burgers our boys had were average and seemed store-bought. Overall, it was a decent experience with a few drawbacks."

after england has just won 2-0, it is my favorite pig to see englsnd vig 2-0 in. the pub was well spaced, kovidsafe and the long one was smooth. pasties looked amazing.

the hands has changed some paintings in the run of the years, but the current owners have it now as a local pub. beautiful wooden style decor, 3/4 genuine ales, good choice lagers plus ciders. now a pub-grub menu. worth a visit.

New management! Fun friendly atmosphere, good beer, great food. On a personal note, the new landlord Rowan saw me a bit worse for wear outside and invited me in to make me some food on his day off so I could feel normal again! How's about that for service? Kind, friendly and helpful staff and management. Many thanks! Highly recommend!

what a nice pub! four of us two couples) dived on the bank holiday sunday, so a warm welcome from rowan and katie. the pub was immaculately clean, a really good choice to be a so small pub that all really well kept harvey 's and guinness). they have created such a beautiful atmosphere in such a beautiful 'snail' pub. our taxi driver had left us down and didn't give us time to come to a restaurant we had booked. Astonishingly, the elders of katie came in and offered us all one. very recommended.
