"I ate here with a group of friends and colleagues and I must say it was one of the most convivial evenings I've spent, eating and drinking local wines at a leisurely pace, having time to appreciate the less usual [for tourists] offerings of traditional Sicilian foods in lovely surroundings. I particularly liked a barley dish with fresh herbs and the meats and sausages served on a grill at the table. We left the chef to choose our menu and it was a tour de force of his skills I think he wanted to give us a chance to sample a little of everything. Local cheeses, charcuterie, pasta, beautifully cooked vegetables featuring fresh and incredibly flavoursome local tomatoes and aubergines, there was plenty to please everyone including our vegetarian. The dessert, which was small donut like pastries with a side of nutella was a little on the sweet side for me but this was remedied with the alternative of a squeeze of the fabulous Sicilian lemons. It might be a problem if you are pushed for time but make time! For us it was a heavenly way to end a working day. Don't be put off by the location which is not the most picturesque part of Acireale once you are in the walls of the lovely garden its like a little Eden of deliciousness and ambience."

This is a really nice typical Italian restaurant. The antipasti was huge and delicious! We also had perfectly made Angus beef. Easy to park your car. A very nice place to go to.

I had dinner at this restaurant/pizzeria on Saturday night. wide menu with different pizzas and two doughs available. pizzas seasoned and cooked in an excellent way. prices in line with the quality served. recommended recommended View menu

There are no words to describe the experience in this place. excellent service, regular prices but above all an exceptional pizza. You can't not go. definitely among the 5 best pizzerias of catania and province. I'll definitely come back. super recommended.

Just returned from a short visit to Acireale and Catania with a colleague, and we were introduced to CentOnze. Its situated in a pleasant garden with a large outdoor terrace that I can imagine would be beautiful in the summer, however we sat inside in the spacious rustic-themed dining room. There's no menu – you simply have courses of traditional Sicilian food delivered to your table over the course of the night. Local cured meats and cheeses (including an amazing artisan salami and very tasty unpasteurised fresh ricotta), followed by a host of tasty vegetable dishes, chickpea soup then grilled meats.
