"Having a very late start to our day, we thought we were best going to a bakery for a simple coffee and bread, but Cafe Central proved us wrong, offering breakfast until 4 PM (No, we didn 't start our day THAT late). The breakfast selection was plentiful, ranging from hearty breakfasts with ham and cheese to scrambled eggs to the sweet stuff (crepes, cakes, etc). There were as well extensive choices of coffees and hot beverages. Our day began with a normal Milchkaffee and a Kaffee mexikanisch (coffee with powdered chocolate), served in soup-sized bowls. With all that coffee, we were definitely awake by then. Then we got scrambled eggs with mushrooms; for 3.70€, it was a bargain for what we got: decent portion of eggs, warm and nicely toasted roll, and a small cupful of salad doused in a lemony vinaigrette. It was nothing extraordinary, but I was pleased with it. We also had their muesli with yogurt, and it was alright. Decent service. Food came quickly enough. Thanks for getting us started the right way."
