"beautiful small coffee shop with some great seating on the back. amore has not much kerbside appeal, sees clearly cut off the road. in the interior there are many seating places with some large sofas on the back. they are greeted with a beautiful display of cake and there is also a decent menu of sandwiches. the personal is kept very busy and sometimes the focus is distracted on details. a spiltdrink on our table was not noticed and even after a appeal for some serviettes was not noticed yet. as it was, the cape received a cursory wipe that allowed a larger cap to dry. not great, kids. perfectly decent eating and drinking to reasonable trips and there is a nice feeling for the place. and the cake uoh, yummy"

Went in on the off chance of a table as it was busy. So glad we did. The softest freshest bread for the sandwiches. Just delicious. And coffee is gorgeous. Lovely people, very friendly and safe. Exceptionally clean. Highly recommend

My partner and I enjoyed brunch here, and it was a wonderful experience. The staff were very attentive, even helping an elderly woman with her food and ensuring she was well taken care of. Our meals were delicious, and we received a generous portion for the price. Overall, it was a great experience. View menu

Not very impressed with Paignton as a place. Looking for somewhere to have a late lunch snack and found Amore. The food was well presented and tasty. The place lacked a bit of atmosphere but then so do many places due to covid restrictions. Always happy to support a small business instead of a chain.

had a nice latte with mandelmilch in amore this morning. they have a great selection of vegan and gluten-free cakes as well and the owners lead the place that are very attentive, friendly and courteous, so I highly recommend it for those who need diet or any unhappy with how they like their drinks and eat. I'll be sure to try their cake next! View menu

I enjoyed a delightful lunch and cream tea here. The pizzas were excellent, and the cream tea was the best we had during our time in Devon, even among some well-known cream tea spots. The scones were warm and incredibly fresh, perfectly balanced without being overloaded with jam and clotted cream. I was very impressed and will definitely be returning. The coffee was also excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely, complemented by friendly staff.

This is my first visit to Paignton in nine years, and I have so many fond childhood memories here. Naturally, I had to stop by Chandlers. I'm thrilled that the new owners have kept this wonderful place open! The food was excellent, and I opted for the great breakfast. Nine years ago, the portion sizes were massive, so it was nice to see a better balance this time. I want to personally thank Jody, Stuart, and the entire team for keeping this gem alive.

"We use this place to wow our clients. From large corperate to small business owners, each (wish I could swear to emphasise here) love this place. This IS the best Tapas, if not, best restaurant locally. A fine dining menu with a friendly, relaxed, yet special feel. They nail a multitude of cuisines, with each dish being the best variation of it i've tasted. Now i'm only in my (late) 20's, but our clients vary and all of which that have come here agree and never want to leave. Each time they come to visit us, we don't firstly look at agenda's, we look to see if we can get a seat here. The chefs are excellent, but you don't always come back just because the food is great, which is why Sara and her team are the best at what they do. Sara makes everyone feel special and really knows cares about her stuff. She deals with each situation perfectly and even when i've had to sit and cringe at situations, she spins it expertly, avoids any awkwardness and ends up making even the worst jokes seemingly brilliant. You have the likes of the elephant/ other boujee' fine dining restaurants which when we have a client used to be first the options we'd think of, but now it's nothing other than here. The others have a pretensious aura and make lovely meals in a stale atmosphere, but not here as you can enjoy the occasion and company just as much as the amazing food. My one and only critism is that it's now impossible to find another place to take our clients, which is why I returned with the same client on Thursday and they couldn't be happier. I could write a lot more, but won't be a bore, so i'll end by saying thank you for keeping going. I first came to you after you recently opened, with my father and his spanish friend (a typical spanish bloke... a big headed chef, which your food is the first he did not critique). You were seemingly struggling and it even felt like you were close to giving up. We're all glad you didn't. Thank you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"
