"We use this place to wow our clients. From large corperate to small business owners, each (wish I could swear to emphasise here) love this place. This IS the best Tapas, if not, best restaurant locally. A fine dining menu with a friendly, relaxed, yet special feel. They nail a multitude of cuisines, with each dish being the best variation of it i've tasted. Now i'm only in my (late) 20's, but our clients vary and all of which that have come here agree and never want to leave. Each time they come to visit us, we don't firstly look at agenda's, we look to see if we can get a seat here. The chefs are excellent, but you don't always come back just because the food is great, which is why Sara and her team are the best at what they do. Sara makes everyone feel special and really knows cares about her stuff. She deals with each situation perfectly and even when i've had to sit and cringe at situations, she spins it expertly, avoids any awkwardness and ends up making even the worst jokes seemingly brilliant. You have the likes of the elephant/ other boujee' fine dining restaurants which when we have a client used to be first the options we'd think of, but now it's nothing other than here. The others have a pretensious aura and make lovely meals in a stale atmosphere, but not here as you can enjoy the occasion and company just as much as the amazing food. My one and only critism is that it's now impossible to find another place to take our clients, which is why I returned with the same client on Thursday and they couldn't be happier. I could write a lot more, but won't be a bore, so i'll end by saying thank you for keeping going. I first came to you after you recently opened, with my father and his spanish friend (a typical spanish bloke... a big headed chef, which your food is the first he did not critique). You were seemingly struggling and it even felt like you were close to giving up. We're all glad you didn't. Thank you Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"On a cold and windy April mornimg we were welcomed by both the warmth of the surroundings and the friendliness of the hosts. The storm overnight had left us with a healthy hunger and we relaxed with hot toasted crumpets with butter, accompanied by the continental meats selection. A couple of hot drinks make the perfect repast. Many thanks to the Lighthouse's accomodating and very friendly owners. Oh. And not forfegging the loving attention for our fluffy pooch who was given a comfy basket, a bowl of fresh water and a bit of chicken breast to boot. Many thanks!"

"We had a weekend break in Devon and the place we stayed recommended Jingles as their favourite take away.. Well we can see why!!! The food was absolutely amazing, we had it delivered and the driver was so lovely and the food was just so lovely. It was perfectly hot when it arrived and I honestly can’t say anything else about it other than it was AMAZING!!! It was probably the best part of our holiday so thank you jingles for a delicious meal and the onion rings!!! AMAZING!! Vegetarian options: We are both vegetarians and we have a vegetarian chimichanga, a side of those amazing onion rings and some fries. Just lovely!!"

"I rang to see if we could book a party of seven adults and two toddlers for lunch and was told that bookings weren’t possible but “I’m sure we will be able to accommodate you. ” So, in the cars and, having arrived in Cockington, and before parking, I went in and saw the owner who pointed to a table large enough for us all and I said we have to park the cars. I was told that was not a problem. Being Good Friday car parking was a problem. When we returned we found our promised table occupied and we were expected to sit at two separate tables whose parasols offered very limited protection from the rain. When questioning why our promised table was suddenly not available the owners reply was “It was ten minutes before you returned and I thought you weren’t coming back”. I beg your pardon! Upon our initial arrival, and prior to parking, he was made aware we were the party of nine who I had tried to book for earlier that morning. I also made him aware that we had travelled thirty miles. We will never return! I understand that the good rating of Weavers was likely inherited from the previous owners. The School House, just across the road, looked after us brilliantly and we all enjoyed the rest of our day in Cockington."

"We have had the most amazing experience here. Seeing an independent restaurant with 5*, we suspected it would be up there with the best. But this incredible bunch of people are really in a league of their own. From entry to exit the service was pleasant, attentive, and made us feel welcome and relaxed. The recommendations from the team were helpful, and no request was too small for them. The menu (and staff) highlight the allergens in food and the team are more than willing to accommodate any requirements. The food itself was to die for. We have our favourite restaurants for a night out, and if this was closer to Cornwall, it'd take the top spot. You've got a real gem of a business here and we're thrilled to have had the chance to experience it. We'll be back, and we'd recommend that anyone visiting Torquay make sure to visit and enjoy some of the finest food around (just remember to book)."
