Charlotte's Place - Menu

Excellent Food. Four of us ate here today, from sunday lunch menu. service v.good, food excellent best dish definately roast beef Catered for young child and changed the menu to suit, also v.good value as half price voucher came through the door!!!

Every so often, diners stumble upon a restaurant that makes them exclaim 'yes!' not in a suggestive "When Harry Met Sally" manner, but simply because it ticks all their boxes and they can't imagine it being any better. I had this delightful experience over the weekend at Charlotte's place in Ealing Common.

...unfortunately for the rest of us, renders it the perfect discovery to show off to your foodie pals. But it’s that good I can live with it. Just. In my case it’s the place to take the family; the banker for birthdays when good, sophisticated food and a warm atmosphere is what you need. And to their credit, each year has been as brilliant as the last.

Fantastic!. Ate here for the first time a couple of weeks ago and it will not be the last! Fabulous food and wine felt like such a treat. I had the fois gras and ham hock parfait which was beautifully balanced in floavours and textures. A cheeky cod dish came in next swiftly followed by the best lamb I have ever eaten. Cannot recommend the food highly enough.

the Uni season begins and my little sister is ready to move – it seems as if she played with her Bratz puppies yesterday and went with her nase firmly into the latest harry Potter book, and now we pack her little life in a case and take her to the north. with the fresher week around the corner it is a scene that I can imagine that the whole country is unfolding, and for my little sister the change is at least exciting and probably more than a little nerve racking.

Since moving to Walworth, I have discovered a hidden gem of a restaurant called "Neighbourhood." It is a place where I can enjoy delicious food and excellent cooking right on my doorstep. Despite the variety of cafes and eateries in the surrounding areas like Nordic and Borough, Maltby Street, Peckham, and Camberwell, "Neighbourhood" stands out for its affordable, seasonal, and locally sourced menu. It is only a five-minute walk away and never fails to satisfy my cravings for a tasty lunch or dinner.

recently I tried to make a habit, forced me to dine outside of london in Britain. my plans are slow, but I admit that I can now and again be a little lazy, so that the idea of hopping 20 minutes in zone one on a bus has its attractions. so on Saturday afternoon I picked the mut and took the bus (aka taxi) after reading some very positive reviews to charlotte’s place in ealing. ...you can tell we all really, really like Charlotte. I almost feel bad calling this a restaurant, because the two times we've been here, we've literally taken up the whole of the ground floor dining area, had too much good food, and made so much noise that it felt as though we were at a good friend's place having a nice meal. What I really like about this place, aside from the faultless food, is the bright, airy interior which not only makes food pictures look good, but also makes it feel as though it were nice and warm outside (which it is not). Charlotte’s Place is a charming restaurant with 54 seats, located in a 150-year-old house at the corner of Ealing Common. Founded by Charlotte Kearns and her husband, the restaurant has been successful in its peaceful setting since July 2005.
