"This place is just off the harbour and we decided to eat at lunchtime on a whim. We sat down and were greeted by the waiter firstly in French, then by signs and then he said " We can do this in English if it's easier". The languages spoken are French, obviously, English, German, Italian, Spanish and a combination of everything with arm waving. All in good humour. We ate from the fixed price menu, which is always good value. The food was good honest cuisine. Something for everyone. Especially as one of our party is particularly fussy. The experience was enhanced by the waiter - he didn't stop. All the outside tables were full and he spent 1.5 hours taking orders, serving and making sure everyone was happy. He was a whirlwind - in one door and out of another! Certainly worth a second visit if we'd had longer."

Good service but overpriced and average food. OK it's a resort and it was high season (July 23rd) but that doesn't excuse poor value. Won't be returning.

We've eaten here two nights in a row...which says something. Fabulous staff, great service, good food. The food is better than La Bord Eau across the road and half the price. Very happy.

This restaurant is located near the old port in a side street. Small outside area. We were helped by their friendly staff and chose a a low priced menu which was excellent. Also very nice desserts ile flottant etc. View menu

Une soirée ou toutes les tables sont réservées mais on nous trouve un espace pour deux. Des moules au roquefort et un burger breton qui ont ravit nos papilles. Une tuerie !!! Excellent accueil, excellente cuisine! Bref nous recommandons cette adresse.

Ate here with friends who live in the area. Nice little place with the freshest cod I have ever eaten. Everything came out hot, including the pommes frites which they make themselves. We ate early, so received our meals without delay. But as the restaurant filled up the staff of 2 servers (mother and daughter, I assume) could barely keep up and many diners waited a long time for their meals. View menu

Given that seafood and Betragne are intertwined this restaurant cannot be recommended. The kitchen makes very delicious mussels but cannot prepare fish.Though fisherman and a fishing port are just a stone's throw away from this restaurant, the fish dishes (e.g. lotte/monkfish) are much too small and of poor quality at an unreasonable price.Baguette was only served to French-speaking guests by the landlady; her face revealed some contempt towards English-speaking people. It's a pity since the restaurant has a multilingual menu advertising very rare fish.Any guest is thus recommended to order mussels and maybe prawns - and to stay away from the common cup of coffee that is pricier than that sold...
